This is my review of the Sony ICF-C1T FM/AM Clock Radio that I bought at a flea market for $10.00 last June. Features of this radio include AM/FM Radio, clock with dual alarms, sleep and snooze functions, automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST) adjustment, and brightness adjustment.

Beautiful design and great bargain! I've had a Bluetooth speaker Sony SRS-X11 for some years and it works perfectly. It's a small cube with unbelievably full and clear sound for that size. I bought in a hifi shop for £49 and it's still sold on amazon for £65 now or £50 on ebay, some things don't lose value quickly.

Any way the radio can automatically turn on when discounting and turning on?

Those buttons are a bit small, but nice radio. These cube clock/ radios were really popular. Many companies made these cubes.from the 80’s. Surprise it’s that new, to have DSP. A couple years ago, both Sony and Panasonic were going to get out of the of the radio making and simply outsource. Well, for some reason they decided to continue. I’m glad. Though, I’d prefer they stayed away from those nasty DSP chips. As usual, excellent review. 📻🙂

This is a nice clock radio. Luckily, this is one of the better analog display DSP radios. I just wish the front of the radio didn't look like a mirror. I'm a bit camera shy when it comes to that other than with family and close friends. Thank you for watching and have a good weekend.

I seen that clock radio at Walmart. Do a video on the Midland ER210 weather radio, because I really miss tuning the weather band. I found it at Wal-Mart for $39.92. little pricey but, great on AM, good on FM.

Walgreens also had this radio with a slightly different model number of ICF-C1. They ran out of stock at my nearest location. I never bought the Midland ER-210. What happened to yours?

This is unrelated but I got the Radiwow r-108. Did you notice that it skips portions of the radio bands when it does searching? It skips over 5085 wtww even when it comes in strongly.

Unfortunately, it only searches for shortwave stations that are within the specific bands. WTWW is just outside the 60m band, which is around 4.750-5.000 MHz. Some other radios have similar types of searches.

How do I change the clock to 12 hours (AM-PM) instead of 24 hours?

There is no option for 24 hours. It only uses 12 hour AM/PM time.

About the only thing I wish Sony did different on this is make the LED display a little bigger.

I removed the battery but am not getting a low battery warning light...bizarre. I don't get it.

@@tvradio1972 Low battery warning light came on after about 12 hours with the battery removed. It must not be instantaneous. After putting in a new battery you have to press the Radio button to clear the warning light.
