I got the same alarm clock from Walmart a few years ago when my older one messed up,this SUX,it is harder to set and when I set it,the stupid thing loses time after a week or 2,I was looking for the clock I had or close to it,the clock I had was a whole lot easier to set and it kept time.

Any idea how to fix my mistake? I unplugged it and then changed the battery which apparently is a huge problem. Now I can't get it to do anything but flash 12:00am.

For some bizarre reason, when the backup battery starts to expire it will speed up the time on the clock. Does your clock have a 12/24 clock setting? Some have it, some don’t. My Sony is the white model and I’m trying to figure out why there is a recording icon on the clock face. If anyone can tell me what this is, I thank you in advance. Good vid.

Some of these clocks have an adjustment for the speed of the clock. I’ve seen a couple of these. Personally, I’m not all that impressed with either clock or radio. I’d expect a bit more from Sony. I agree , I do like the size and shape. 📻🙂

Alarm clocks like these don't keep the time as accurately as your wrist smartwatch because they dont rely on connecting to the internet or to your phone (which then connects to the internet or service provider etc) to be super accurate, they rely on a quartz crystal module inside that is either fast or slow a few minutes per month

You didn't show how to set it for the weekend. I have a Sunday morning class from overseas and the weekend alarm doesn't sound for me and I can't figure out how to get it to sound on Sunday. Bummer.

One can play around the time set buttons n figure out putting in the dates but the last part of setting the time doesn’t follow the same weird format n it’s “one value” n it’s aggravating when resetting after months or years bc it requires rewatching a KZfaq vid.

We bought this piece of crap 5 years ago (in white). After struggling literally for hours we threw it into a drawer and forgot about it. We dug it out and gave it to 2 UNCW Nursing students who rent one of our houses.;. A week later they thanked us and said "impossible to set." We have recently watched your video but it's just too much work to get the damn thing to tell time and wake you up.
