I’m always on the hunt for the perfect vlogging camera! I have an a7iv with a 20mm g lens (so heavy) but this seems like a light baby version! I’m excited to try it out :)

I think the 20mm fixed lens looks better than the ZV-1 with ultra wide adapter. I also like how it can now be charged with a USB-C cable. Thanks for sharing this really thorough review

Hey, great review. one of the best reviews I have seen on this camera. I am curious to know if u had the skin smoothing function turned on during your vlog test. Also when walking it looked pretty smooth, did u have stabilization turned on?

Wow, really looks a lot better than the ZV1, and cheaper!! I wasn’t expecting Sony to come out with another camera so soon, since the ZVe10. I’ve been waiting for a canon G7X mark iv, but I don’t know if that will ever happen any time soon. The canon m50 wasn’t that impressive for the price, but this one, you kinda can’t go wrong! I wasn’t that impressed with the Nikon z30 reviews either, neat features, but video was kinda blah. Was the stabilization good with this Sony? I know e10 is a bit shaky vibes, that’s where the Nikon shined on stability. But overall, this is exciting!!

Love this camera! When you say webcam, does that include live streaming? I have an upgraded webcam on my iMac but it still looked disappointing on live stream so I’m not sure what I’m missing there. Could you talk about setting up something like this for a better quality live? I’m not sure what I’m missing when it comes to that. I wind up not doing them because they look so bad. Thank you!

hi jessica, what do you use to edit your vLogs? im trying to learn how to edit vlogs and do cinematic looking vlogs and stuff, but i think i will start with the basics. so anywho, do you use iMovie by any chance? if not, what app or program do you use? thanks jessica

Lol 😂 it’s gone! Great comparison video. Definitely something to get for better videos. I use my iPhone and a lavalier mic or shotgun depends on where I am. Sometimes I am wanting to use the phone for other things but I’ll I am recording and I can’t. This looks like a great option maybe a Christmas gift too🤗!!

I'm very tempted to get the ZV1F.. The size looks nice... But the contrast only focusing is what scares me a bit... Considering the M50 mkii is around the same price... I'm really torn

I hear the Sony Zv-1F you can add an ND filter so it can adjust in lighting settings. it just screws on it. I do wonder about the motor dying over time. that's what happened to my Canon ELPH 100.

How do you transfer the files into the PC? All my videos are.. dare to say pixelized.. and I have all the settings done and checked via various review/set up videos. The videos look great on the camera, but played on BS player for example are so bad. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Interesting review! I’ve had my eye on the zv-10 (interchangeable lens) since it came out. I currently have the Sony a5100 which despite its age is a great camera (apart from the lack of audio Jack and 30 min recording limit). I bought it for £300 in 2019. Dying to upgrade so helpful to know what’s out there.

Nice camera! But it doesn't have all the same features! It doesn't have that fancy hotshoe mount for that Sony mics so that you can use them on the camera without a cable and I also think that the ZV-1 had RAW mode for photography and this new one has just jpeg. I know that this is a video camera first but there may be people that want to use this camera for photography as well because it's little and stuff and RAW is good for editing (if you wanna do that). Plus I think even a smartphone has better stabilization (Iphone, Samsung) and of course the GoPro. They didn't improved the stabilization! I have seen in the video when you did the comparison with the Iphone, the footage from the phone was better in terms of stabilization compared to the camera which was bad in comparison. And stabilization is very important! With that camera you have to walk very slowly, but very very slowly, not normal, in order to be a little bit okay. The mics are good, the image quality is amazing, thw wider lens is cool. I just wanted for them to keep the RAW format and improve the stabilization a lot more, everything else is amazing. Keep up the good work! :)

I have been recording on my iPhone 12 Pro Max on my main YT channel since the beginning, but I've been wanting to upgrade to a camera now even though I'm not gonna like the whole worrying about battery life on a camera vs my iPhone 😂. Still not 100% convinced I should do the switch at this time but I know I will eventually. thank you for the review/feedback!

Are you for real? ZV-1F has NO PHASE DETECT AF and you are telling your followers that it is “perfect”??? Try being honest and letting them know that it has autofocus about as good as the GH5.
