Sony NEX-F3 Unboxing
Sony's NEX-C3 has long been a favorite here at the TechnoBuffalo offices. Its big APS-C sensor and interchangeable lenses offer an almost-DSLR experience without the gigantic price. There's a microphone jack at the top where you can mount on your own flash instead of the build in one

They are only in the shows hosted by Revision 3. 'Ask the Buffalo', 'What's the Apps' etc.

I think the microphone input is available on the top of the unit. As is every other nex camera.

This is a APS-C sensor Jon. Not a Micro Four-Thirds, which is much smaller.

The sensor size is APS-C, used in DSLR cameras... NOT a micro four-thirds!

CORRECTIONS/NOTES: -APS-C sized sensor, not Micro Four Thirds -Image quality will rival some mid-tier DSLRs -Amongst those "books" was the manual, which is very important -Popup flash is not used for pointing upward -Camera does not ship with an SD card -You can get an external charger for the battery -Round control is called a Command Dial -External mic can be added via hot shoe

How come there is a wall charger included here when all other reviews specify that nex f3 comes without the charger and that you can only charge the battery in the camera??

The 5n doesn't flip all the way out, the f3 goes 180 degrees the 5n can tilt down but not as far up

Not "m43-size" as you mention, but APS-C which is larger. So when you say "it's not quite a P&S and not quite a DSLR", you are correct. But it has the same sensor size as many DSLRs (actually has the same exact sensor as the D7000 and K-5).

I think you mean APS-C sensor, not DSLR. DSLR sensor doesn't really mean anything, at least not in comparison to micro four thirds.

Hi, have you tried "Photo SFXart Tricks" (do a Google search for it)? On their website you can watch a good free video showing how to take fantastic photographs. It made it easier for Matt to create pictures which have a wow-effect while you look at them. Hopefully it helps you too...

If you are going to do a review, please take the time to study the specifications. You should have reshot the video. The inability to known what sensor is inside the camera at the onset of the video detracts from your credibility.
