Well actually, they already know that SE would announce the latest FF installment that time, so the 'bigtime' surprise factor wasn't on the FF folks that much... But apparently, the crowd still went nuts after the FF XV transition. You hear the silences during the whole trailer? THEY'RE STUNNED. I gotta tell you, a lot of people are are so dead excited for both titles.

This was probably the only time when you see a bunch of grown-ups cheering wildly seeing the Disney logo.

I bought this game and none of this was actually in the game

The fact it is FINALLY being made just makes me happy. I would figure maybe a 2015-2016 release, but I'm just assuming.

Ahh I would love to see how ff15 would have oringally turned out. I still enjoyed the game and is one of my favourites bad damn theres so much more they coulda done with it.

It makes more sense for 'Grown' men & women to get excited over this series, because it all started 11 years ago when these 'Grown' men & women were in their preteen/teen age years. They all grew up watching the Disney Classics, then Square Soft decided to collaborate with Disney to make a game. At that age, anything to do with Disney cartoon was cool, fighting alongside your favorite characters? That's like a dream come true, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Aladdin, Peter Pan & FF Characters too!

The day that Square Enix won my heart back.

For many people it was their childhood. It's not weird at all. An adult learns to leave behind childish notions like trying to look like an adult. You may not like the series, but millions of other people do.

I think that's the first time in a while I've seen people cheer when they saw Disney in a video game.

And in 2015, when they reveal FF VII Remake at Press-Conference after the announcement of "World of Final Fantasy", a chibi-style for-kids final fantasy XD People screaming like in hell... hahaha XD They're really good on how to make "twist-feeling" when they announce something like this...

We're almost there boys we are nearing the release of these amazing title's only a few more months FFXV will probably be released before kingdom hearts correct me if im wrong but i remember square saying kingdom hearts 3 is 60% done so probably holiday 2015? Hope so can't wait!!!

I'm confused, are you thinking of Utada, the one who writes the songs for the openings of the games, or Yoko Shimomura, who composes pretty much everything else with a few exceptions. Utada almost definitely isn't coming back, but I believe Yoko is still with Square.

There's a reason why they announces at the Sony's but not Microsoft's conference, and you know it. Imagine they show it to the Microsoft's audience instead, what will their reaction be? Surprised maybe, but won't get ape shit crazy all over the internet for the next 3 weeks!!! The PS4 is already leading the race because of its positivity for the future in this conference. Exclusives or non-exclusives won't change its sales.

Yoko is no more with Square but she have her own studio. She's independant now. But she still works for Square. However, Utada doesn't want to work with Disney anymore (she said that in 2009).

It doesn't matter man. When KH3 announces during the Sony press conference the internet (especially twitter) explodes. The hype has been lit, no one cares a bit about Xbox one at that moment. This "very, very" moment in the conference seals the Xbox's fate, I dare say. Not even being sucked back by the reversal DRM policies will changed a thing about the games.

To this day, the FFXV trailer still gets me Its still so phenomenal to watch and see Its such a shame the game itself never lived up to its true potential, and honestly a disgrace to the Final Fantasy Name, this is coming from someone who played and still genuinely likes XV, but it really is one of, if not “the” worst FFs in the mainline series if not franchise, i hope in time they decide to give the game a very much needed remake

Chances are KH3 will sell a majority of it's copies on the PS4 since people who owned 1 and 2 will be most comfortable with the controls of the PlayStation.

Somy may have won both for games and the console war if these two were exclusives to ps4

Doesn't matter, majority of KH fans own PS and will buy a PS. Most Xbox fans don't know much about KH so I doubt they'll purchase it. Who cares if it's not PS exclusive, it's been in Nintendo's console and portable console for a while too. GameBoy, 3DS. There's even a mobile game of KH. All I care is they are making the game and it's currently in development now.

And the best version of FF 15 came out in PC 2 years later, not to mention a Royal edition on consoles Learn from this people from 2018 and forward, there are leaks of a next gen console for Sony, so dont buy a Ps4 just for KH3, because a Final Mix version might come out anyway

Sony announced it, I dont care about whatever platform its on. Sony actually got the crowd to cheer. I could care less what graphics engine it uses. This is what won Sony e3. GG.

Why was a name such as Versus XIII even considered in the first place? at least they changed it, good call Square.

A waste of money? For opening the games to xbox one, they get to sell their games to the microsoft population. People who only got xbox can now get it. If it was exclusive Square Enix would not receive much money. Also to make it compatible to xbox they just have to tweak the files in the cd along with diff controls and stuff. That doesnt cost much except working on it in a computer or so. It was a smart decision for square enix.
