I always come back to this. It shows how important music is to telling story on game, shows, or movies. Especially Ragnarok, music and the scene made me cry so much at the ending sequences.

This still hold my #1 presentation of a game of all time and its 2021. Santa Monica studios really pushed the envelope on this and it paid off big time. Sooo much electricity in the air, what an amazing score. Everyone was super hype when they left the presentation. No other game mattered after this honestly lol

I’m back here after completing Ragnarok, and lemme tell ya - I couldn’t be happier.

I notice that the GoW THEMES REPRESENT Kratos in each game: Over the time, the songs were simplified which means that Kratos was only motivated by one feeling: hate You may perceive it by listening to GoW 1 main theme and then GoW 2 and GoW 3 themes. So the music itself is a "spoiler" of the game. And now by listening to this song I think Eivør Pálsdóttir (the woman with the drum) breaks the song and brings a different feeling to the music: Threat. I think she represents the Jormungand, the Giant Snake from the Nordic Mythology that is hidden in the woods, in the end of the gameplay trailer (and also appears in the NEW GOD OF WAR LOGO!). You can see that makes some noises that sound like a Snake... And by that, I mean this Snake can be a Big Threat to Kratos and his son...

I could only imagine how beautiful this was in person, my God.

As a kid, I never grew up liking live versions of songs. And this song, man. The amount of chills you get through your body is crazy. Both versions, studio and live, make me feel like a god among gods. A power above and beyond anything you can feel. Truly one of the best songs, games, soundtracks, and orchestra I’ve heard.

god of war is not just a game for those who have been playing it from ps2, it's an emotion, and this presentation had completely done justice in executing such a phenomenal way of giving respect to such a huge game and it's player's..... hatsoff to the team❤
