thank you I almost gave up trying to directly solder battery wires to the pads. But doing it this way turned out to be much easier again thank you

Thank you sir! Put the port back on on ps5 bdm-0020 controller. Used my phone as a magnifier, a regular soldering iron, and some strands of cat5e patch cable as tracers. She works!

Hey, I have a dualsense that works perfectly but stopped charging, I thought it was the battery and I bought a new one, worked until the battery discharged, at this point it does not charge but works for USB C, any suggestion of what it might be?

If the pads are still there I should have no issue soldering the connector back on without jumper wires right ?

Hello!, I tried changing the entire Analog stick because of the drift, for some reason the controller still drifts, then I just removed the Analog stick, turn it back on, and Its magically drifting!, so it was never the potentiometer or the analog, it seems that it could be the board? Do you have any clue of what have happened? I cleaned every trace with soldering wick, there are no parts connected between them...I wonder.

I've had replacement analog sticks that still drift. You could have received a dud which unfortunately does happen.

@@KiloooNL Yeah, the analog stick had 2 potentiometers that drifted, so I had to change them aswell, and they were brand new!. I solved the issue
