Aloha everyone! Here is a quick video of the outdoor daylight video performance from the Sony ZVE-10 and 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 PZ OSS “kit lens” in picture profile 7 (PP7) Slog 2 . It’s been knocked around a lot by numerous sources for its middling quality and softness. I find it to be a decent lens for video recording outdoors and vlogging where its soft quality is beneficial. It’s a 10 year old lens but still great for KZfaq videos and other social media platforms (where pics and vids are compressed heavily) because of its light weight, compact size and affordability. It also has optical stabilization and power zoom.
-Manual mode and manual focus was used for the majority of the scenes.
-It was recorded on a tripod and handheld with OSS (optical steady shot) off.
-PP7(Slog2) was used for the picture profile. This seems to be the most recommended picture profile for the ZVE-10/A6000 series if you want to do color correction/grading.
