Get the Xperia 5 IV and be done with it. The zoom lense got some improvements and manual focus in video also fixes the issue. Otherwise the 5 IV seems to be the best compromise. Better heat management and better zoom lense. The 5 IV also fixes the "phantom" touch on the power button / fingerprint reader. You can set it to only read the finger print when pressing the button.

Im rocking the 5ii and still going strong. But yeah those overheating issues are a bit sad for sony atm. They make amazing products but always make 1 big flaw in it too. So sad :( cause I'm a big Sony fanboy 🤣

Turn off 5g that’s part of the overheating problems, I’ve recorded for 25 mins no warnings

Im a professional photographer and ive also used over 30 smartphones in the past year. Not only me has the same opinion, most reviewers do. Sony keeps making mediocre products for way too expensive. If you dont think my opinion is credible, look at the other reviewers and they say mostly the same

@@taviluci real professioanl photographers use their camera for photos and not a phone. The oppo find x6 pro, xiaomi 13 ultra, iphone 14 pro max do a better job in photos and videis. But in terms of colours sony still does better than all, so if you want a great camera from sony phone get the sony xperia pro i
