Thanks for this video! I couldn't believe there is no arresting mechanism for this tray; it feels wrong when it just slides in without resistance. Since you needed a screwdriver to get it out, I guess that's just how it's supposed to be. (It's even worse that it easily goes in upside down. WTF Sony, all the other handsets I've used have this figured out.)

i got one of these given to me for my birthday! and i had the sim cut and it worked fine but i took it out because i lost all my contacts and when i tried to put it back in, it kept saying no sim card-no service? can you help please? i don't have a sim card tray either i think the previous owner lost it! please help me!!??

since i've never replace my cell phone in years, I have the older Sim card, which is a little bigger than you show. Does that old Sim card will fit into the Z2? Is there a way to make it fit?

You have to take it to a shop and they will cut it for you and make it available for your xperia z2 :)
