Robbie, the car stereos that I had with the shortwave band worked great! I had them installed in pickup trucks with external whip antennas, so I'm sure that made a difference. I'm not sure how well they would work on a vehicle with the short "shark's fin" antennas that you see on most modern cars. I was easily able to pick up WWCR, Radio Havana Cuba, WBCQ, and most the big international broadcasters with no problem. Of course, it was easier at night, but even during the daylight hours I could pick up a few of them.

I'm not sure. I sold this many years ago. Sony no longer makes car stereos with shortwave, but Pioneer does. Do a search on eBay and you will find them. I believe the seller is in Israel.

No, I never had a Sony shortwave car stereo that had Bluetooth. The newer Pioneer models that are sold overseas have Bluetooth.
