im looking for a camera to do video and good photography and im upgrading from the canon t100 isd the r50 a good choice. because i think that the canon r50 looks better and sharper than zv-e10. great video. also the r50 has a record limit of an 1 hour continuious shooting

As a complete beginner I ordered the R50. One minor edit- 9:20-9:30 R50 does not have a headphone jack. This is the biggest downside to me but I’ve been looking into solutions like a mini HD to female 3.5 adaptor or using a microphone with a built in headphone jack to monitor audio. Any thoughts on those solutions? Microphone with headphone jack recommendations?

It's better to go for the Sony ZV E10 mark 2, that's coming in June 2024. Don't buy these two✌️

ok so what your say for someone like me that uses final cut pro has used many DSLRs and knows how to get good photos and video, as well as colour grading Sony is my best option? i have always been a canon guy for years had a few dslrs with cannon andy many lens in the past, but Sony has always been interesting to me with the auto focus and colour grading options.

An adapter is available for the R50 which allows you to use your EF lenses

Both camera would perform pretty similar because of the content. I would say the r50 has an edge thxn to its in camera colors looking better from the jump. You can't go wrong with either tbh.

Hey! Imooking for a good camera for vlogging specifically and slightly leaning towards the R50, ive heard reviewers say it "crops into" the frame. Is it really bad that i should get the zv-e10 or is it just alright?

hello! it does crop, however if paired with the 10-18 mm lens it’s not noticeable. I also believe the zv-e10 crops in, hope this helps!

Hey im a photographer and i must say it depends... both are great but if you are looking for a easy job get the canon, the photos out of the camara are good and editing them is easy, the Sony looks better but you have to edit them so that they look good.

How about for someone who doesn't care about video, and is a jpeg shooter? I've been looking hard at the R50, but I worry that the kit lens is worse than anyone else's kit lens, and I worry that getting a decent lens would be more expensive as compared to what can be had with other camera makers.

Will the canon R50 overheat even if I’m not actively recording in 4k. Let’s say I use the HDMI to capture from an external capture card.

From what I've gathered in my research as I'm interested in both cameras.. the canon, when shooting at 1080p, will not overheat. But I believe you're still limited to 1 hour recording sessions.

hello, I'm torn between two cameras and I need your help. Canon EOS R50? Or Sony Alpha ZV-E10L? What will I use it for? I will shoot both day and evening during camping shoots, I will also shoot videos with DJI RS 3 Mini so that there is no shake, I will also shoot drinks and food in cafes, I will buy it for my work. always shoot in Log doesn't matter what the camera and always colour grade or at least use a lut.

Need a video on rf lenses- Can I buy rf 85mm f/2 macro lens? Is it a versatile one? Note: I am not a pro and I have just bought a new canon R50

The 85mm would be great but note that the r50 is a crop sensor so that 85 wil be closer to a 136. However that might actually be better if you want it for the macro. otherwise get the much cheaper 50mm lens.

yeah yeah u can edit the colours, so do the low light u can edit and use noise reduction AI these days cheers no need to sugarcoat sony camera

@@mbismbismbbuy the Canon if you love canon color so much, but know that in a blind test most people would choose Sony color over canon. I used to think canon colors are the best and that most people think that way until they do a blind test.
