I kinda just started working as an MA and personally I love it. I love to see patients and meeting new people. Like sometimes there are rude patients but that’s just always going to happen. Anyways, I do family medicine and I do about anything but I feel like if I didn’t get to be an MA I would be shy forever and ever. Now I feel more open, I talk more, which is something I couldn’t really do. But just try to study hard for these exams the NHA, AMT, etc. don’t doubt yourself, you can do it! I am currently studying for the CMA for AAMA. Being an MA in my experience is good but there is days that gets really busy because you do literally everything. I feel like MA’s should get more recognized and get paid higher. I am thinking of going to college soon again. But good luck to everybody🍀

Wait do you do the externship after the exam or before? I’m confused because you said you were hired on during you externship. Can you explain that in more detail please.

Thanks for this video... I just graduated with my associates degree in MAA (Medical Administrative Assistant) in August. I am having a hard time finding a Medical Assistant job because they require you to have atleast 1 or 2 years in a office medical setting or have clinical experience. That's the thing I don't like so much because I only have administrative experience in a way. I need more hands on experience with everything to understand it. It seems like nobody wants to train you they just want you to have the experience already well atleast the basics. Do you think I need to go back to school to do clinicals? Since i only have a little bit of knowledge in administrative. If so any recommendations for getting Clinical experience?

I just finished MA school with a 4.0 GPA. The test wasn’t hard but I’m struggling with the certification exam I have to take Friday. A lot of the questions we didn’t touch on that’s on the certification exam.

Is there anything you do like? You don't like charting, don't like wound care, don't like shots, changing table paper. Sounds like you don't like being a MA. Sorry not trying to be critical , you just don't sound like you enjoy your job .
