The last CR expires in October, then the election is in November, then the new House gets in the first week of January. The Democrats should tell him we'll save your ass, IF... Its not "aid". Its part of the agreement made in 1994 (Budapest memorandum) where Ukraine gave up its nukes in return for security guarantees from US and EU states as well as Russia ironically..

@marial870 Outside our country? Republicans don't want anyone to know our own country's history if it were up to them. Republican attacks on education that started under Reagan, have been more focused on rewriting history and how it is taught this century. Reading,writing, and math really can't be changed, but what and how history is taught can be. How do Republicans think screwing with education is good for the country. Unless they think a less educated voter will be a republican voter. Maybe. But I bet more people with functioning brains defy republican attempts to make them stupid because they don't want to be stupid. And they won't forget which party preferred them stupid. The greatest irony about this is that some highly educated Republicans in the past set the party on this path towards less educated citizens.

Their looks are similar...the problem is Johnson doesn't have any weird vocal sounds, ticks, quirks, etc. that lend themselves to parody. I hate to say it, but as crazy as he is, he actually looks and sounds blandly unremarkable. He's just not good material for physical comedy.😕

don't see the problem they have most US contributions go to military aid, including weapons and equipment made by American defense contractors who employ communities across the country. When the United States spends money to purchase military equipment as part of an international aid package, the materiel may go overseas, but the money and jobs stay in America.
