To the interviewer. Bruh, don't take this the wrong way. I've watched several of your interviews. You seem very well knowledgeable regarding these topics. However, when you ask questions to people, you have a tendency of interjecting while they're answering, which a lot of times can throw the person off from giving his FULL opinion.

As far as why ppl are leaving is because if we being 100% honest...99.9% of the folks that travel to these countries and stay, they stay because while they won't admit it, theyre looking for LOVE, theyre looking for a wife. And what happens is, they initially fall in love cause the treatment is a lil different than what we get in the states, pretty women, etc. But as time goes on...u start to notice that these ppl ALSO have problems. Maybe not the same as ppl have in the states, but they def have their set of problems. So now that fairytale they created in their head of the perfection and the ease they assumed they were going to live in....that bubble eventually pops and REALITY kicks in. And now u dont see the place as u once did because YOU over hyped yourself and u dont know how to assimilate like a normal person with different intentions can. So then they move to Colombia, Costa Rica, Panamá, etc...not knowing that within time the SAME THING is going to happen and will CONTINUE to happen until u LEARN TO ASSIMILATE to the culture and mindset of the ppl and u gotta learn to take the good with the bad. Those who are running off are running cause they wanted all the good but dont want to accept the bad..so they run off the start another fairy tale, like a crackhead who keeps chasing that FIRST high they ever got. Like one of the brothers up there said...U gonna learn that ya money dont always mean shit to them. Money can make certain shit happen, but it wont change the culture of the ppl...they gonna be who they are with or without ya money.

I watched a video from an American-Dominican girls, a couple days ago, who said they were encouraged since young to have a child with a white partner "PARA MEJORAR LA RAZA", meaning, in order to improve the race. They want to be the further away from blackness. No wonder many like to say they're not black or want to stay away from the sun. I heard it was the ideology brought to them by one of the earliest president or leader of the DR. I haven't read anything on the topic though. But hey, I heard that in India there were well off Indian women willing to pay white men to inpregnate them so that they have a mixed race baby with a fair complexion too. In Thailand, many Thai with a white parent, are actors on do modelling because they have whiter skin than the average Thai person. South Korean wpmen put bleaching product on their skin to make their skin whiter or use an umbrella in summer to avoid having a tan. Bleachi'ng product used to be very popular among African women. I once heard a young African woman telling her friend."I want to have a white boyfriend. Not to have a lo'ng term relationship with them, only so I can have a mixed kid" So, colorism is not only a dominivan thing, it's spread among blacks and even asians. too.

I think the mistique of Sosua has dissipated if not gone and can it be restored to its former glory? That remains to be seen. I started my journey in the DR in Sosua so it has and will always have a place in my heart. However it's a love and at times a hate relationship but I will never stop going but the passion isn't the same and time on the ground will be short. As for clowns, don't blame the clown blame the audience that feeds them. And yes I had a chick darker than me say she doesn't want to be in the sun. Needless to say I was done after that.
