★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties
-No pair may share the same primary typing

I’m really glad Blue caught Gibble when he did. If it had used Dragon Rage, it would’ve been the most terrible death in the series… for the Gibble. I went back and counted. It had 1 PP left on Dragon Rage. If it used it on Trever, that was it. It’s out of uses. But Blue probably wouldn’t have known that, and would’ve most likely killed it to keep his team safe. A Gibble would’ve been kicked off the team despite no longer posing a threat.

Just want to put this out there that if you guys are thinking of setting a level cap, most hardcore nuzlockers set the cap for ENTERING the battle at the level of the ace. However, they edge their pokemon so that killing the leader's lower levels will force a level up. Doesn't really matter if you choose to do it like this or not, just thought I'd give an idea!

For the Gible fight, if they counted very closely it used Dragon Rage 9 times, even if it used it again on Trever it would've been out of PP

Still campaigning for Applebees and 2For20 Talking about bad rng, metronome into charge beam into aeroblast is probably one of very few things that wouldve killed heracross. 2 1 in 467 chances to hit those exact 2 moves

I never realized how big of a difference there can be between a "pro" nuzlocker and your average Fruit. Both are entertaining for different reasons, it's just interesting to go from watching Wolfey or Pokemon Challenges or even GameboyLuke to this.

Keep in mind that when you get crit, it also ignores badge boost so typically crits will end up slightly over 2x damage in this generation. Essentially if you see a legendary you have the option to run from, take it even if you think you can kill it. Easier to grind on a different wild encounter than to grind an entirely new pair after getting crit.

Mr Fruit, I found out today that the AI in Diamond and Pearl is random AI. So if you’re confused why a trainer used a move, it’s because it’s random AI. Worse than Gen 5 AI (which is Pepega itself)

Whenever you get a new Pokemon and you add it to your notepad that shows who's linked to who, you should also put where you encountered them so it's easy to check if you've already gotten an encounter there.

For reference, that Gible had used Dragon Rage 9 times before Blue caught it and it only has 10 PP so you could’ve survived probably Male name: Ferguson Female name: Sylvia
