Silence is important. Please allow me to interrupt. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

Perfect. For the last five days I have been meditating near the spot where Buddha's foster mother attained Parinirvana. What better place. Imagine it. All the greats sat around where I sat looking on and helping Prajapati Gautami attaining Parinirvana. The spot is lovely and serene on the banks of the Ganges. Wow. The Buddha watched on, Sariputra and Mogallana watched on, Kassapa, Bhaddaji and the other disciples watched on, Visakha and Amrapali watched on, Theri Uppalavana watched on and helped Prajapati Gautami to have her last bath. The five hundred nuns were sitting around meditating. It took time. I was on that spot imagining that scene through my monkey mind as I tried to meditate. Namo Buddhay. Namaste.

@@buddhaexhumed9922 : "Meditation has made...". No doubt it has. However, any place can be a great place to meditate where you can relax and let go. I know of a woman who could instantly go into deep meditation while waiting for the traffic light to change. It's all about discipline, a lot of discipline and a new way of life. Some of the people who were in your life will slowly disappear as your interests change. This will be a great step for you to find who you really are and what your gift to this life is. And above all, you don't need a special place to meditate. Any quiet place with no interruptions will work. Any place with lots of nature, public parks etc. are great places to seek the truth through meditation. Nature calms us and helps us to "let go" which is vital to listening to those who are working for our highest and best good from the "Other Side". Be well be well informed and be free. (by the way, I spent 14 years in "vison questing" (seeking truths) in a cow pasture on the East side of Glacier National Park, in a 23-foot RV. I did this after I retired.) Just an observation. Your last line "as I tried to meditate. Meditation is all about letting go, "try to let go" isn't meditation.

I was aware of these 6 concepts, but your teaching clarifies and illuminates each one of them, so that now I can work to embrace them into my life, now that their meaning is clear. In fact I would say that I feel a sense of peace, at least for this moment. I have known that a sense of peace and harmony in life comes from within, which gives one the power to bring this about, not to rely on external sources such as family, friends or the love and support of others. Achieving this will in and of itself draw others into your life. From someone who is overwhelmed with responsibilities, demands of herself, and facing the last part of life. I shall listen your words frequently, with gratitude I thank you.

You become more self-confident and self loving when you become open to others. People who get taken advantage of have a sense of “lack.” They are insecure. When you become lovingly helpful to others it improves your self esteem and you naturally avoid people who take advantage or learn to say “no” without hurting feelings. The more you like yourself the less available you become to users, who you learn to turn away with tact and diplomacy. No one can take advantage of you when you truly love yourself. Loving yourself leads to loving others.

It can feel like there's safety in not being yourself, but selfish people will try to take advantage of you wether you're being yourself or not. The problem is that being yourself is also the best way to attract people who are genuinely attracted to people like you, and being someone who is not really you pushes away people you'd want to keep. So perhaps the key is to know there are both kinds of people out there and to try and have the bravery to put yourself out there but also develop the wisdom to know when to withdraw.

I think in this context detachment means having compassion, listening to the other with an open heart, non-judgment and empathy but not internalizing it, being upset by it or angered on behalf of the other person. Just being a compassionate listener without trying to "fix" the other, can have tremendous benefit to the person.

I love your videos. Your holiness don't you want to know and see where the first Tibetan Sangaram was opened solely for foreigners. This is north of Patna on the northern banks of the Ganges. Xuan Zangs lovely book led me to the Sangaram. According to him three Sramanas from across the SNOWY MOUNTAINS (From the area around 'Taro Co' lake in northern Tibet) crossed over to India on a pilgrimage to holy Buddhist sites. Indians fail to understand who they are and no one gives them food and shelter and sometimes beat them up. They were lying by the side of the road dying when the King rode up. He inquired about them and when they told him their story, the King realised a Sangaram was needed for foreigners only where Indians won't be allowed. So this can be regarded as the first Tibetan Sangaram in India. Those days Indians had pierced ears because they wore ear rings. Foreigners had unpierced ears so this Sangaram was for unpierced ears. Those days Indians didn't know about Tibet so this Sangaram was for unpierced years, meaning foreigners. Today that Sangaram is a village and that King is the local village deity. This story proves that Buddhism went to Tibet prior to Xuan Zangs epic journey to India. So Tibetans will have to study how and when Buddhism went to Tibet. Because Xuan Zang seems to infer that Buddhism went to Tibet much earlier than what the great masters claim today. I have made a video on this topic titled, ‘First Tibetan Sangaram in ancient India.’

Yes, I guess I need to welcome poorly AI-generated subtitles full of misspellings opposite to their intended meanings. “The urban flow of life”? The “never changing dance of life”? I might not mind so much if the these videos weren’t ultimately profit-motivated.

You may not be right... you said Buddhism started long ago in India, which might not be correct because Siddhartha Gautam was born in Lumbini, a holy city in Nepal. I agree that Siddhartha Gautam Buddha went to Gaya when he felt the need to find happiness and peace for the mankind, but it all started at Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, the kingdom of Buddhha which is in Nepal. Most of you need to do proper research on this topic because the country India has an influence on everything, spreading rumor that Buddha was born in India. But actually, he was born in Nepal, and he felt that he needed to do something good for mankind when he was a prince of Lumbini. Sorry if I offence somebody.

But what was it called during Shakyamni Buddha's time? Is it not the disputed region? It seems to me it was neither and both.
