aum veer Hi, I have considered doing this many times but I’m very conditioned to plan, especially with regards to work etc. do you work outside of the home? I would be interested to hear more about your changes with regards to planning please.

My job, my one and only job is to awaken myself to my truest Self, to spring alert from the long dream of thinking I'm the mind, spirit body, or that eating meat or drinking too much or that having negative thoughts are wrong or bad or unappreciated. On the human path, all of these issues can be problems, but when you practice the act of awakening to your highest Self, there's little room for questions or perceived problems of the play. Of the drama we seem to be a part of. See, watch, observe, but don't judge. This is what I try to live by.

Thank you Vaibhav. You're right. In the path towards God I also experience tests from Swami but that only draws me closer to Him so it's okay. I am trying hard to listen to the true voice I have in me while practicing self control and not succumb to the materialistic pressures that is there in such high volume in the lives of my generation. Really need God by my side.

I say this from my own experiences too... unknowingly, some of us attach our sense of wellbeing to what others think of us. In so doing, we think we ARE the persona we've created in order to fit in. I believe the event you mentioned is Swami's way of detaching you from such tendencies, so that you may learn of the glorious & divine being that you truly are. I know this issue feels disheartening, but our path with God is a personal one that not everyone will understand & that's okay. I hope this helps.

Sairam. Happiness is momental. Whereas living in the association of Swami's devotees happiness is forever. Swami says Bhajans are important in every moment and that's the easiest way to reach God. Swami is Omnipresent. Radhakrishna.G
