Vladimir Karuna is steeped in the understanding and practice of self inquiry, as taught by Sai Baba, Sri Ramana Maharshi and Mooji.
With his wife and son safely protected in the Czech Republic, 53 year old Vladimir practices what he knows in his homeland, sound psychology, spreading love and helping others by teaching them an understanding of self inquiry.
It is self inquiry that helps others to better answer the question, Who Am I? All three teachers mentioned above have helped Vladimir to find solace, peace, joy and love by turning his attention inward, away from the supposed distractions of the outside world.
Another benefit from self inquiry can help individuals reduce fear in their lives, an invaluable gift, especially for those living in a war zone.
Speaking as the founder of Souljourns (along with my wife, Jody Cleary), Vladimir's story has touched us profoundly. We hope you listen to it closely. There were some audio issues in the recording of this interview, and as with most people for whom english is their second lesson, there are some accent differences. But overall, Vladimir's courageous ideas and insights come through clearly, viewpoints that serve well those who live around him, and those who life afar, such as ourselves.
It's been great to meet a Sai Baba devotee and follower of the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and Mooji who has chosen to risk his life in the effort to bring aid and comfort to others.
