I think her story is beautiful. The amazing kindness of her foster family helped this girl become, as you say, a generational talent. Imagine if her “birth mother” had not injured her so badly, and Diana was returned to her “care”. Instead she was transferred to a loving environment where she was encouraged to follow her interests and talents. That broken collarbone was a small price to pay for that gift.

And when there was a pause, they remembered their role and rushed to press the buttons, since in this competition the buttons must be pressed before the end of the song. And they thought the song was over. She was on another singing show a few years ago with a local song that was lots of yodeling. None of the judges turned and it raised a big stink.
