i mean, theres probably some parts that are literally impossible to play on the guitar, like at 3:17 hes obviously not picking those orange notes. it would (probably?) have to be done by a second guitar if done live.

I would actually be terrified if he was a boss battle in any sort of game. Setting up his previous henchmen to keep intruders away, and if you defeat them, it gets increasingly difficult with every stage of the bosses. Adding more frantic attacks and aggressive stances. Facing ExileLord himself... That's madness.

i knew that Real guitar could be easier than GuitarHero way back in the first few games-- before they had the 'open string' mechanic added in, youd have to hold a Green note even though the real guitarist is just chugging a low E...

There's quite a few programs where if you upload a midi file of a song to it, it'll push out a file which if you put into a tab program e.g. guitar pro, it'll give you a pretty good base tab for guitar or whatever instrument you select, a lot of people did this for piano/guitar for soulless 4.

I had to do it all by ear, but in some ways it's actually easier than figuring out a normal 'guitar' song. I can slow it right down and it doesn't turn to a distorted sloppy mess :P

@@HalfDuck The one major upside to any music that's electronic, it's pretty easy for even a beginner to pick up the notes by ear. However, they need the skill to play it and memorize the notes. I'm trying to learn how to do things by ear better on piano, there's a few tricks I've found

It's actually not that hard : it's just a lot of practice and developping the right techniques (well, at least for strumming, alternate picking and tapping/pull off). Also, as counter-intuitive as it sounds, the more relax you are in your picking and strumming, the more consistent your speed will be and it will also be easier to reach the desired speed etc. Arpeggios are another story tho, the accuracy needed is harder but can be achieve with a lot of practice and simple exercices to reach that accuracy at such speed.

As a pro guitarist, this video is sped up. If you need proof for your own eyes, watch the bounce of his leg or the speed of the chair's movements when the chair is visible or the bouncing speed of the unclipped string ends hanging off the headstock. There are many sections where it's pretty obvious. I'm not saying nobody can play this precisely at this speed, probably hundreds of guitarists on earth can, but this KZfaqr faked this particular video. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, IMO, as long as he's not trying to get a record deal or advertise for lessons that he's giving (and therefore lying about his level as a guitar teacher).

Not sure if you're gonna see this but just gonna put it out there: You should collaborate with exilelord! Either if you two made Soulless 6 together (his composition with you playing most or all of the parts to give it a more rock/metal feel) or if you two made that on top of his original Soulless 6 (when he makes it, btw not the april fools joke one). I think a lot of people would really love to see that!
