We will start with an unboxing and first impressions. They arrived well packaged and in great condition.
Secondly we will look at their packaging and portability. This set of singing bowls comes with 2 carrying cases as well as individual padded sleeves for each bowl. This makes it ideal for storage and for traveling with the bowls to yoga studios if you are a yoga teacher. It will keep the bowls from getting damaged. This was something that impressed me most about the singing bowls.
A full sound test is done with each of the 3 mallets that comes with the bowls: the hollow suede mallet, the solid suede mallet and the rubber mallet. Then there is a mini-sound test.
I play the Ryan Dvan singing bowls with a 432 hz tuner so that you can see that they are all tuned to 432 hz and each other. On the sales page, Ryan Dvan says that: “This set is justly tuned, with a pitch deviation of less than 10 cents between each note, and the interval relationships between the bowls are accurate.” In the tuning section, you can see that this is true.
From there, I will show you the exact measurement and size of each bowl.
