Hi! I want to buy EW IEM G4-TWIN-A1 ( 3 pieces, therefore 6 bodypacks ), ethernet switch and AC 41 with passive omni-directional antenna A 1031-U. It is like yours set-up in video. Will it work well?

Just bought ew IEM G4 TWIN and it does not work as shown here or in the manual. Easy Setup on the transmitter mutes RF then will not sync with the receivers. I can sync from transmitter to receiver but not the other way.

I figured it out - you have to make the infrared connection after selecting the bank on the receiver but BEFORE selecting the channel. Annoying.

I'm getting a lot of fuzz just straight from the receivers and not due to the frequency transmission. I switch on the receivers and they fuzz.

Hey Margaret, this issue is probably about an impedance mismatch with your InEar Headphones. They are „too sensitive“ for the output of the Bodypacks. I ordered custom InEars with a 20 Ohm resistor built in the signal path. That helps. Or you can use an Adapter Cable with extra Résistance. Like „3,5m airplane adapter“

You don't have to, it just helps if you have loads of units so you don't keep on having to to the IR pairing. I have one but don't always use it tbh.

What a convoluted mess. Hard to tell what's worse: this video, the "instructions" that came with the system or the manual. Really, after all these years, you can't engineer a product any better than this? And you can't explain hw to set it up?
