I have the 100 g3 right now. Plan on upgrading to the g4 500 and use a SE Electronics V7 MC2.

Well, it depends on the capsule used, even the 100 series can be equipped with a condenser capsule, e. g. the 865. In that case you don’t need the EW500 Series.
