You can crank your SB2 up to 11 if you change the EQ setting in spotify, just hit acoustic and turn the 60hz down to 1/4. I had the same problem and this was the solution.

I don't believe Diamondboxx has released anything new for a while now. From what I saw on a video quite a while back, the Diamondboxx M3 got outclassed by the JBL Partybox 100 at half the price.

I would ditch the app built-in EQ'S and even their custom EQ option. I use a 3rd party EQ and it seems to sound a bit better.

Great video like always. I know that you already have a bunch of bluetooth speaker. But I was just wondering if there is any chance of u reviewing the soundcore rave + Bluetooth party speaker. it supports app control and always you to customize your eq. it's available at Walmart for $199.

I think putting them in the trunk of your car increases the bass, if you put them outside with nothing behind there will definitely be less bass

Yes, if you just sat them in an open field there would be less bass. That applies to any speaker.

I live in Denmark and here you can't buy the SB2 as new... There's only the SBGO and SB3... But here the pricedifference is also bigger - 730 USD for the SBGO and 1060 USD (with all the stupid danish taxes... lol) What is more better in your opinion? :)

I think you should do a custom eq on your Go. I can actually hear the difference. The point is nothing this small sounds this good with that much durability and swappable batteries. Physics tells us a larger cabinet should have more bass. Also the Go has a soft dome tweeter. Which should be a little more crisp. Size is the main reason the GO was created. All that JBL stuff with all those lights is gimmicky. My opinion. I DJ; so my opinion is more on the pro-sumer side. I have a Soundboks 3 also. Everyone that hears the Go that I know. Put it in the size perspective of. Nothing sounds this good. This small.

My daughter just got married and we used my dual JBL Partybox 110's on stands for the reception of over 100 people in a large open room and they did an amazing job. Some of the people really liked the Partybox lights, so not sure why you consider lights on a "party" speaker to be gimmicky. The JBL speakers are no joke. I did use the Soundboks 2 for the ceremony music and it did well.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews Most if not all professional speakers do not have lights on them. The partybox speakers are not the JBL professional line. They are for consumers. Bluetooth speakers in general are not for professional use. The Soundboks speakers to me look more like the JBL professional line speakers. The two partybox speakers you used probably did sound amazing. I have 9 QSC K-series professional speakers. None of them have lights either. Lights appeal to a consumer, pro-sumer market

@@djfrankib45 the Partybox speakers aren't marketed as "professional speaker", so not sure why you continue to run them down based on them having lights. Most PA style speakers many DJ's use actually don't have much bass extension. So I guess in that regard, the Soundboks speakers are similar. I ran my Partybox speakers wired, not via Bluettooth for the reception. Same for the Soundboks 2.

As a DJ myself as well, I have the SB3 and the SB2. I find myself not using the SB2 as much as I’d like, and I’m looking to maybe replace it with a Soundboks go, especially for the linking features with the 3.. Really don’t know what to do

I was running the GO in Bass+ mode the last part of this video. And no, even in Bass+ mode the GO doesn't have the same kind of bass the SB2 has. Plus the GO in Bass+ mode can have distortion at higher volume and also increases the treble to harsh levels. The EQ's within the Soundboks app are a mess.
