Should I get the jbl t120tws ($50), soundpeats true capsule or truefree plus?. I never really looked into earbuds as I have been using wh-1000xm2 headsets but is inconvenient in trips. I like a bit of bass but which would you recommend? Many thanks!

Hi, I bought these, and in most respects I'm very happy with them. The sound quality is excellent, and the Bluetooth functionality is seamless and simple. However, they have one major weakness compared to the Soundpeats Q16s I had before : they aren't loud enough! Even at full volume on my iPhone XS, it's too low, and can barely be heard over the background noise of the subway for instance. The Q16s were much better in this respect. I am currently looking around to see if there are ways to boost the volume, either via a firmware update or an iOS hack of some kind. This is a major issue that nobody seems to have highlighted. Thanks for the thorough review!

I have the SoundPeats "True Free +" right now which are the same as a set of P32 (I believe) model ones, they were identical although the bluetooth chip inside was different the design was identical. The first pair failed for an incredibly unusual reason. I live in Florida and my sweat would enter the microphone hole and cover the the wires connecting the battery to the board. I took them apart to discover this after one day they quit working. For several weeks up to that point they'd disconnect randomly on the right earbud. For the "True Free +" ones I got in September 2019 I actually used super glue to fill in the microphone hole. I don't use them for calls, the mic is junk, but I will continue to sweat since this is Florida lol.

I only discovered your channel yesterday, I can't believe you ve done reviews on the few earbuds I've narrowed my search to after going through sea of products out there. One of the last questions I have is how would you musically compare these and lypertek tevys. I was settled on lyperteks but somebody praised these soundpeats so high I've got them in the mail now.. thanks

Tevis for me fall short on the bass. More of a brighter sound signature and clarity is their. Truengjne SE will give you the bass and the fit was better for me.

Do they have an audible static noise when something is playing? I had to return the new soundcore liberty 2 for that exact reason, just couldn't enjoy listening to quiet pieces as the static was too distracting!

@Brian Unboxed Hey Brian. I hope you see this. First of all, I really appreciate all these reviews you keep posting man. Especially the music samples as not many if not any do them. So we appreciate your work man. So now to the question I had. If I had to choose between the Sounpeats Truengine SE and Lypertek Tevi which one should I go for if I am looking for the more balanced sound. Given that the Tevi's cost twice as much, are they twice as good or is the noticeable difference minimal for the price jump ?

In my opinion the Truengine is pretty soild, and fitment will probably be better. The Tevi will stand out in the overall clarity and have better separation, but for me it lacked on the bass. I also didn't like how it fit for me, as I mentioned in my videos. You can't go wrong with the Truengine SE, if you are on a budget in my opinion.

One final thing, as you always say sound is subjective but I keep seeing a few comments and reviews on amazon saying that they sound muddy and very hollow because of the way they have tuned the earbuds. Did you find anything like that?

Hi, Good day. Can I ask which is louder? Soundpeats SE or Soundpeats True Capsule? I got my SE and tried it but the volume and bass is lower compared to my True Capsule. I am not sure if it is broken and needed to be returned. Pls. Help.

Volume levels should be equal. Bass on the SE will be tighter and more percussions not as airy like the true capsule. Also make sure you have the correct ear tip size or else it will not sound right.

You can't go wrong with Truengine SE or Sabbat E12 Ultra in my opinon. E12 has a slimmer profile and heavier on the bass.

at 1:44 the right earbud is glowing white. it does the same at my pair, and it doesnt appear to be charging when its glowing white. does that mean, that theres a loose connection between the case and the earbud? or is there a reason why it is glowing in the case?

@@noka5730 Besides the loose charging connection my first pair had, they are absolutely great. (refunded via amazon, 2nd pair doesnt have that problem at all) The sound is outstanding (Incredibly punchy and dynamic bass; Crisp Trebles; High resolution mids), and there are no issues with bluetooth connectivity. Also the button controls are awesome. Vol +/-, Prev./Next Track, Answer/Decline Call etc. Best pair of tws i had yet. (Coming from: Arbily tws, Soundpeats Truengine 1, Soundpeats True Wireless. Also tested the Sennheiser and Bose ones.)

Yes definitely comfortable and gets loud. I mention bass towards the end. Definitely provides deep bass.

So far these are pretty good. I still have 2 more to review from soundpeats, and haven't compared the sound. I have a feeling though that the dual drivers will stand out more compared to the others.

Hi, thanks for your videos!. I'm about to buy bluetooth headphones and they have been a great help. I see you did two reviews of my two finalists: SoundPEATS Truengine SE and the Tranya T3 Sports Wireless Earbuds. Both have very similar characteristics. I really like jogging and going to the gym. Besides that I like to isolate myself from the outside world when I hear my music. Knowing this in advance, which one do you think I should buy?

Both are good pairs. It will depend on how you like to listen to your music. T3 is definitely heavier on the bass. SE has more of a balance sound and better separation.

I've seen conflicting info about the bass and the volume on these, is the bass heavy and does the volume get loud?

The bass is heavy but not the overwhelming bass. It does get loud, and one thing to keep in mind is to use the correct ear tips or it will not sound good.

Bass is dialed down a bit compare to E12 ultra. But good all around sounds.

Does anyone get iffy charging? The left earbud has to be placed right to start charging or it won't, the right one can be just dropped in and will not make a fuss :(

@@WhoIsSerafin Micro-usb has a janky connection and is orientation specific. USB-C is just a lot nicer to use.
