Looks pretty good. I guess I found the solution for noisy neighbours! Thanks KZfaq. Quick question about sealing, does can it replace existing sealing, or it goes over it?

In general this would be to replace the existing ceiling as it is fixed to the joists. It can go under an existing ceiling, however you would need to consider the fixing used and the loading on the structure.
