All amps should have to be certified on the dyno before leaving the factory, no more unicorn numbers 😂

I purchased this one and the matching 4 channel. Good to see the perform half decent. Also I have noticed that some of these tiny amps are rated at 15v-16v. In a hybrid or electric car these would do great.

Keep in mind, most electric and hybrid vehicles main battery is still a 12-volt lead acid. Only Tesla's newest models are the only ones running on a higher voltage lithium low voltage battery at around 15-16 V. So it's very rare.

Maybe over the next couple years we'll see more vehicles swap out the main battery for a small lithium cell. The manufacturers just need to make sure that every circuit that's running on the low voltage battery can safely handle up to 16 volts.

I'll always have a soft spot for soundstream, it was the first car audio loud system that ive heard in the early 90's....just wished they would stop it with the bizarre ratings

Same here, my first love and experience was with the soundstream class a 10.0 rated 50 watts and 200, 500, 1000 watts and it dynos @1100 watts bridged quarter ohm .25 insane power for 1997 and 98 when these came out. But the reason they over rate them is because soundstream got bought out by another merger company and just shredded their reputation down the tube with horrible amplifiers and outrageous overly powered amplifiers that did not meet their own power ratings. I'd say it's a rather said decline and it hasn't gotten good in a long time. Every now and then you see that they release something worth checking out or even purchasing

Wow that's crazy 😮 a 2K not even pushing at list 800 on the Dyno not good but I know the sound stream amplifiers are great amps 💯🔊 my friend has a txp1.3500.1 and he is pushing 2 tens kicker comp r's in a ported box and it sounds amazing 🔊🔊 I'm jealous of it I'm still trying to raise up the money for one of your amps $160 . But I was thinking maybe you should Dyno this amp txp1.3500.1 but still liking these videos of your great job bro 💯

Look up the sound stream Picasso models they are tiny like that but Korean they do way more than rated Picasso amps are almost identical size they have 5 30 AMP fuses on the front. So 150 amps of fusing.
