I had a Lanzar Vibe 6ooo (I think) made in the 1990s and it was a beast. This before they sold out. It was on 2x JBL 12s in a 80ish Toyota pickup truck.... They didn't have near the right size enclosure and you could see the top of the box through the rear window 😅😅.. Sadly someone snuck in the yard and set the truck on fire... Pissed off ex bf of the girl I met.... That had to be one of the most expensive nights in my life... Maybe nit but damn close 😂😂

5000 W max that’s wishes not watts. They were selling two 12” woofers for like 99 bucks around a year ago that actually had decent size motors I almost bought a couple just to see if they banged for super cheap bump in the trunk.

How do you think it would do at 2ohms bridged? I’m looking for an amor that can handle that so I can run my mids on 2 channels and tweeters on the other 2 channels. I want to do a 4 channel cuz I like that I can adjust the EQs for both channels

Internally looks simular to a blaupunk's smaller sub woofer amp. Not much suprise . Should drive a single inexpensive dual 2 ohm vc sub ok, especially if built sealed small box, larger than the sub cu ft spec calls for (old trick or more bass). Polly fill helps too. Way back in the day, it would be nice 2 have something this good - early 1980's.

I like as much info as possible on these test especially on your new vid where you also test the ts parameters of the sub you had.

@StereoMojo- I was very surprised by the gut shot. It is very nicely done. Looks to be quality. But the power was dismal. This should be rated 350 watts to clipping, on the box, and sell for $49.95 imo. Thank you for your time, doing these videos.

Hey man have you thought about checking out the Recoil amp line? They have a great 5 channel amp which puts out 1800 ways on the bass channel. Also have a very reasonably priced 2500 i think. A lot of people sleeping on them i think. Great video as always my friend.

Well, I knew it wasn't going to be what it says, but dang lol. I have the 2 channel AB 5000 and it's twice as long 😅. I think I'm going to see if I can get my $78 I paid for it... Because it's too physically big to run just my mids. (DS18 S65C 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker (2) Sets 200 Watts 4-Ohm). I'll put a little more $ & go with another Cobalt Orion. Plus, I changed my mind on the 12s. I sent them back Friday and I'm going to go with 3 (maybe 4) 10s to match what the 2x 15s are doing..... I have a lot of low low. So I need that PUNCH to the head now 😂. It's been so dang hot here (coastal SC) I can't stay outside for hours at a time. Anyway, I replaced (today) the double din Pioneer CD player with a touchscreen, Bluetooth and all that jazz. The sound quality is so much better. Now to get used to downloading music @ .99. Being a GenXer I'm used to CDs lol. Another jam up video! Thank you for the dyno!! You have no idea how much you helped me figure a few things out!

Man, I was thinking 400 and not even that. 😢 Not even a surface mount design printed circuit board. That's all through hole design. It's a cheap design using cheap components. It almost looks straight out of the 80's! Lol. The only thing I like about it is that light up eagle logo.

Good morning ☕️. We literally have 2 pawn shops here in Dublin that sell this amp new for $120 . Probably ordering them off of Amazon and reselling them at a marked up price. Surprised to see one in a video. Looks cheaply made. ( Same husband and wife team own both shops ) Not real crazy about AB mono blocks due to extreme heat output of the design and the heat we have already here in the south. 😂

What is the peak power though? I just bought the Red1200-1 2500 Watt version and it claims that the peak is 2500 watts and only needs and 80 Amp fuse. Am i looking at the wrong one?

@mojo I finally got the 15s mounted today. This time I wired them at 4ohm. I know me and I'll get crazy with the volume and forget all about the break in time lol. It's a way from being finished but I definitely got to get the 12s and everything cross overed. IB with that amp, there's certain bass notes in just won't hit... But the lows are there... Might be too low lol.
