I had a Soundstream component set that was pretty darn good. The Rf60c if memory serves (Reference 6" 2-way). The midwoofers were Dynaudio knock-offs with 3" voice coils, cheap silk dome tweeters (weak link) and big passive filter boxes. Ran 'em active on an old school PPI PC450.

That's pretty good! I have mine tuned so it drops off heavily at 36-38hz. I only want the low lows lol. The Sundown Xv3's I got are perfect for it! But those are a much cheaper option! Great videos man!👏👏👏

I have one with a pro box but I have a problem that it hits but it’s not hitting hard like it should I put a 2000 amp nemesis is it cus I have a stock stereo??

Mine still slap me silly every time I listen to them in my 4th order 💯🦾🦾🦾🦾 running mine on a TXP.1 18000D at 2 ohm 😊😊😊

@@skatebunch3084 Interesting........there is a shop in Cali that absolutely loves 4th order boxes and they know how to do them really well. Not the loudest but the best sounding. I have heard other 4ths that were loud but the sound was meh!!!!

@@drrckhamilton yes , exactily , not the loudest but very responceive , mine plays from 25hz - 70hz no flat spots , it's crazy , its loud enough iv'e been banned from testing in my neighborhood 🤣🤣🤣

Lacking on the highs. Put them in a proper size box and amazingly they will do better. Optimum is a 4cuft according to Soundstream. Looks like the VAS is 2.1cuft. I'd say a box around 3.5 would be perfect. Not sure why they say 4cuft. The FS is 32 which is good. 32hz in 2.1cuft sealed is not bad at all.

I have a old school splx 12 and it's stupid efficient. It's from the early 2000s. I'll admit it maybe loud off of low wattage but it's not very musical.

I have a question. If you have a 15" subwoofer that has a rms of 1200, would underpowering it hurt it? I'm only gonna have a Recoil red600.1d powering my single 15" subwoofer in 1 ohms. I don't want no more power than that for now in the first Skar audio sdr ported enclosure that has a 31hz tuned enclosure as specified. I'm also in a 98" Acura Integra hatchback so it doesn't take much to get a good budget build. A daily budget system.

It won't hurt it, just don't turn the gain up past the clip point and it will be fine.

As the other poster mentioned as long as you don’t clip it will be fine. The issue is that if you have a subwoofer that could handle a lot more power than your amplifier can provide you end up, turning up the amplifier more and more because the sub can take more but you end up turning the amplifier up to much and it will start clipping that’s when the problem happens. So just make sure you set your games properly and you’ll be OK.

How bout the 12s ? I got a old-school blue SS EXACT does anyone know the specs for the exact? I also had a reff122 blue old school SS and a buddy stepped on it SMH am I amble to replace the coil?

These use the same baskets as the NVX - VCW series subwoofers.

Same build house. The NVX subs(Sonic Electronics house brand, as is Belva) are an almost exact copy of the Soundstream T5. Nvx vcw line of subs were originally a copy of the T5 until NVX made a few versions since the original vcw.

@@javineshpradad6334 I don't know , I just got the Pioneer tweeter TS-A300TW, for my birthday and will be installing soon since all my speakers and sub are pioneer. I used to have all soundstream speakers and I will say they sound stream speakers sound more clear than pioneers I have now but lacked bass.
