Hi Jill, I really enjoyed your story of your mason jar cover. It made me think back to when my husband and I were first starting out. After we had been dating a while we decided we would each start saving our money to buy a house because we knew we did not want to live in an apartment when we moved out of each of our parents' homes. While we were saving money to buy a house we were also buying and storing everything that we would need for our home. One day he came to pick me up from my parents house and was showing me a set of dishes he bought without me. Now mind you we were buying things from stores that were going out of business or yard sales or anything inexpensive that we could afford (this was 40 years ago) he was so excited about these dishes it was an eight place setting and it had everything plates bowls cup saucers and even serving dishes. We got back to his parents house and he showed them to me and I thought they were the ugliest thing I'd ever laid my eyes on. The pattern on them were blue onions which to this day they are still known as the blue onion dishes. I really did not like them at all but I did not say a word to him at that time. They had came from a store going out of business and there was no taking them back and they were affordable for us. Fast forward through us buying our first house, getting married, having two babies, selling then buying our second home and coming to know the Lord. We still had the blue onion dishes and I started praying to be able to replace them with some pretty dishes. I didn't have anything in mind. Well I finally got dishes that I thought were beautiful and I thought what am I going to do with these ugly blue onion dishes. I decided to pack them up and wait until our kids grew up and moved and I would divide them between the two of them because I had raised them telling them to never despise humble beginnings. Those blue onion dishes are part of my humble beginnings. Humble beginnings and humbling experiences I think are where we do our most growing as a person or a couple. I think the same is true of tough times. Just like our bodies use weights or resistance bands when we work out to build muscle humble beginnings and tough times are workouts for our minds, bodies and souls. When I look back on those times I wouldn't trade them for the world. Thank you so much for making me think back to them wonderful times. Know that my family and I are and have been praying for you.

When I was 15 I stood on the side of a swimming pool and said one day I am going to have this. Humble beginnings and struggles through life but I made it. 50 years later I was able to put in that pool - paid cash. Now my grown children and grands are able to make memories with G-Momma and her pool. Never forget your dreams or where you came from. Love your channel and you.

I used to struggle with accepting help too, Jill. And then someone helped me realize it's a gift to them as much as it is me. You know how good it feels to help others. By accepting help from others, you can bless them with those same feelings. If their love language is acts of service, like mine is, then it is a bonding experience for your kids and husband. Allow them to love on you. It will be so good for everyone's mental health as you heal. All will be well soon 💚

Jill, You are looking so much better. When you have those bits of energy do some little something. It leads to mental and emotional healing because it gives you a sense of normalcy. Physically, if you do a little more each day without over doing, it will help you feel physically stronger which in turn helps with give your mental and emotional state another boost. Have Nate can dump a load of dried towels on your sofa. You sit and fold the towels and he can put them away. Then you can feel productive even though you are not over tasking yourself. Continued healing prays for you as the Lord lifts you and your family in his loving spirit. - Rhonda

Just finished watching your video…..God is amazing. He has taken your sweet dear soul to use to witness about His goodness. When I am weak THEN I am strong….strong in His power and His glory to share and testify about His goodness through it all. I think about a song, Through it all, through it all my eyes are on you…….and it is well with my soul. You in your most weakest physical moment have become so powerful and strong for Him. ❤
