Remember that this is the Springboks 3rd international game since the world cup in 2019. I did expect much more the British & Irish Lions, just seemed to lack intensity and focus in the second half, on that the Bokke played every angle of the game in the second half and just destroyed their opponents confidence. Hopefully next week both teams will cut out the squabbles and focus on playing at the best.

Good to see the Springboks redeem themselves in game 2, can't wait for the decider next week.

Both teams can't even pass the ball accurately to one another they were inept in all aspects of Rugby except for mindless barging at one another. The forwards have got to get out of the backline and realize their job is to secure possession for the backs who know how to create overlaps, do grubber kicks, break the lie even half breaks and to OFF LOAD.

3:17 illegal tackle on two accounts, timing and manner, it furthermore resulted in a serious injury, player should be suspended for next test.

I believe that Conor Murray collided FIRST with Cheslin Kolbe, and Cheslin always had his eyes on the ball, it was an accidental collision initiated by Murray! Also Duhan VD Merwe should’ve been yellow carded TWICE, (2 yellows = RED), his late tackle on Pieter Steph Du Toit was deliberate and was the reason for him being injured. There was an alleged biting incident by Hogg on Le Roux as well as Itoje kneeling down on a Bok player on the ground. And they have the audacity to say the Boks are dirty players! The bottom line is that the English are still pissed at being comprehensively walloped in the World Cup Final. I clearly remember Billy Vunipola boasting after beating NZ in the semis that “we are going to bully the Springboks”! Billy looked like a beaten up rag doll after the final !!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmm have a look at 10 seconds in this clip... In my opinion van der Merwe`s leg kick on Kolbe should have been a Red card. because vdM took Pieter-Sep legs through 90 degrees at 10 sec. ... That should have been his first yellow... Seeing that everybody is screaming for Kolbe to have been given a red for the incident with Murray... Kolbe kept his eyes on the ball at al times... Granted, he should have check where Murray was but he did not so I would agree with his yellow.....

The behaviour of Itoje should change and play rugby, not soccer. In that way he could help to his team

We learnt our lesson, never ever play dour Scots in a Lions test team. Kolbe should have had a red. Also hilarious South Africa criticising Lions, they desperately need this series financially.
