Stef travels to Argentina’s southernmost tip Ushuaia, and discovers an impressive electronics industry among the penguins. Since it’s become known that there are jobs to be had in Tierra del Fuego, the capital of Ushuaia draws countless South American fortune seekers. What is this growth doing to the mountains surrounding the town?
TRACKS publishes unique, unexpected, and untold stories from across the world every week.

The Spanish thingy in the music at the end - that mix of cultures that has North African mixed into the European Spanish roots......fascinating - does he know he was showing a bit of flamenco there ? I'd love to know that gaucho's genetics !

That was not flamenco, it was a bit of tango from Buenos Aires, not from Cadiz.

Very happy to see this documentary. Almost 100% great....but if you are focused on Tierra del Fuego, and finish your doc with a Gaucho in traditional clothing and dance, why would your closing music be tango? There is a disconnect there. Would have been so much better to have used music that reflects the traditional folklore that your last two personalities were dancing to. Tango is not part of the Tierra del Fuego culture. Otherwise, quite a lovely documentary. Thank you for posting it.

What's wrong with preserving gaucho culture? I wonder if these kind of questions would be asked elsewhere... No mention of already devastated culture of local Selknam by the english, wasn't that enough? Just like the Santiago episode, very biased and with subtle hidden agendas. Divide and conquer.

el periodista es un atrevido...siento algo de falta de respeto hacia las personas, con preguntas un tanto fuera de lugar...saber hablar un idioma no te garantiza saber expresarte correctamente , mas cuando tenés una mirada eurocentrista sobre el mundo.
