@@musablue agree. The more I watch clark the more I do think she may struggle to score in the wnba initially. Her main flaw is she struggles against longer defenders, has no mid range (important if players are playing up on you) and also cant shoot at all going to her right. I do think she will be an elite passer though. Even in this game she threw many great passes. Her court vision is her best attribute imho.

Caitlin folded in the last five minutes. SC's defense wore her down and took away her confidence with their relentlessness and fearlessness, they harassed her to the point she lost her energy and became frustrated. They were not in awe of her despite all the hype. Dawn Staly's coaching was excellent. She slowed the game down, changed the pace, which took Iowa out of their offensive rhythm, and she put in her bench players, making her bench the starters and her starters the bench (with a strong emphasis on defense) and it worked. They were clamping close the passing lanes, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters where they separated themselves from Iowa on the scoreboard. Masterful coaching. So media, start talking about the undefeated winners, ok? That's the real story, thank you.

Everything you said was perfect. However it was specifically raven Johnson's defense on her that did it. 23 first quarter. As soon as raven got on her 7 points in the last three quarters. 4 steals. 2 blocks. And she didn’t score a single point the last 7 minutes. She folded. Took her hope, confidence, and momentum away.

How long you been living in America? The system usually cheats in interracial competition - be it job hiring, the justice/court system, sports, or any other segment of American society. That's why it's always been said you have to be TWICE as good as your white counterpart. When you play an opponent like Iowa, you have to beat them decidedly so that you remove the refs as a factor. If you allow the game to remain close, you will get treated like W Virginia and UCONN - that's why you can't let it go down to the wire - you will be cheated.

Hilarious! "1:07" to play on the game clock but they continuing to put Caitlin Clark accomplishments on the screen! They started throwing in Clark's family with every Iowa's score! The two commentators are so dizzy dropping Clark's stats from games long gone and dusted you can't know who's the other players on Iowa's bench! They're not mentioning anything relevant about any other members of Iowa's team! A one man performance don't win Championships! Pass Accolades doesn't guarantee tides turning to favor Iowa either! You can see Dawn Staley shaking her head at some of the questionable calls against her players! She knows exactly what's happening before her eyes! Her team' s playing Iowa and the ref's..In the end too much athleticism, quickness, accuracy and size on the boards and interior defense for Iowa to compete with! Clark got the clamps put on her and she became ineffective after the half! Great coaching and very effective rotation of players by South Carolina at the right moments of the game!

She made 3 critical mistakes: 1) Missed the open 3 with 1 minute left. 2) Did not move well to receive the ball so Edwards had to close the gap step and made the illegal screen. 3) Choose to box out Caitlin Clark after her shooting the free trow instead of fighting with Stuelke and Affolter for the rebound with 3.9 seconds left. And she turned her back on Clark, so she threw the ball on her to waste clock.
