There are a heavily vegetated ares like Qinngua Valley

There are about 5 planted forests in South Greenland. Quinngua Valley is a birch forest (a natural one). The largest trees in Greenland are poplars reaching 16m in height in Narsarsuaq. Siberian larch, Norway spruce, white spruce, lodgepole pine, Scots pine are all thriving and spreading there, besides the Greenlandic Arboretum has more than a hundred different species covering 150 hectares, a truly unique forest if you ask me.

I'd say in a 80 years time, trees will be covering large areas of South Greenland.

@@ViktorPosnov так это всегда так...приходится на горло собственной песне наступать и жертвовать какими то кадрами) но не надо всё на перемотку вперёд ставить)) Красоту надо подавать неторопливо...особенно такую..

в настройках выбери скорость какая тебе нравится.. можно быстрее и можно медленно до очень медленно......я это делаю очень часто, чтобы насладится увиденным.

Thanks for admiring the effort. I do have posted vlog from the area, but it is in Russian and not sure if helpful. Talking about hiking possibilities, they are endless. You would need good topographical map and understanding of nature of the area: weather, terrain and so on

@@thedevastator8425 On this trip, at first I was dropped off from sail boat (we came from East Greenland) and to get back I was asking around locals at Narsarmijit. There are also Helicopters for public transportation. I think Air Greenland website
