In 2010, the South Korean Armed Forces adopted a new pixelated camouflauge pattern, reputedly termed "Granite B." The pattern is in use by all personnel of the ROK Army, Navy (although not the Marines) and Air Force, and incorporates black, dark olive green, sea green, medium brown and khaki shades.

Hi guys today we're going to be taking a look at this Granite B Hot Weather Uniform from the Republic of Korea Army. There are a number of uniforms produced in this pattern including cold/hot weather uniforms, rain jackets, pants and even a ski parka. This is definitely one of the most common pieces of modern surplus from South Korea as its used by the Army, Air Force and until 2021 the Navy. It's also somewhat affordable and can be found on places like Ebay reasonably priced.

I am a soldier currently serving in the Korean Army. I'll give you an additional explanation about the uniform. First, the pink color on the camouflage pattern is not the official color. I think the original owner turned it around with the pink clothes during the washing process. The "대한민국 육군 ROKA" patch on the right literally means the Republic of Korea Army. On the left is a Velcro tape that you can put a name tag on, and on top of it is a bottle and a mark. The corresponding mark is the "ordnance” mark. It is a department that repairs and maintains various weapons and equipment. The rank on the collar means boss in Korea. Basically, a veteran soldier who has served for more than 10 years. The Velcro tape on the neck collar is designed to be worn in the form of a turtleneck by connecting with the opposite neck collar, and the left arm Velcro is designed to attach the division mark and the right arm Velcro is designed to attach the Taegeukgi.

In the process of translating korean into english with a translator, there is a part that has been translated incorrectly. "boss => master sergeant (or first sergeant)" boss and master sergeant(or first sergeant) both words are written as "상사" in Korean. 번역기 쓰고나서 번역된 부분좀 읽어보시지..
