South Mymms & Colney Heath Circular Walk

I revisit an old walk - only to find that half the footpaths have been "disappeared." And for June, there's a distinct chill in the air as well as too much water on the ground. Undeterred, I complete the walk... eventually!
As usual, the route is available on my Outdoor Active... but this one's only for the brave!...

It might have looked liked a bimble but it was quite a long day in the end! I checked out several alternate paths and covered a good 15 miles in all.

Can’t beat a cheese and marmite sandwich, maybe the music was to help the crops grow! So sad that the farmers are just going over the pathways. Great video. Thanks

I think the answer would be to just redirect the paths to around the fields edges, that way everybody wins. Glad you enjoyed.

Lovely video again Johny. I can't believe what they are doing with the public paths. What a mess ! Although I was wondering when the chocolate milk would come out 😀

Very well signed, but at this time of year totally planted over. Yeh, glad I held that Yazoo back for a bit of energy near the end.

Blackhorse Lane walked around there a few times jonny lovely walk I'm only 3 miles from there also behind the Blackhorse pub about 1/2 mile in field there is an moat n Bailey ruins its marked as South Mimms Castle on map, for future reference , very enjoyable upload yet again cheers ,see you on ya next one 👍

Oh I wish I'd known about that, maybe could have incorporated it into the walk. It's nice round there, so many footpaths to explore.
