I think the answer would be to just redirect the paths to around the fields edges, that way everybody wins. Glad you enjoyed.

Blackhorse Lane walked around there a few times jonny lovely walk I'm only 3 miles from there also behind the Blackhorse pub about 1/2 mile in field there is an moat n Bailey ruins its marked as South Mimms Castle on map, for future reference , very enjoyable upload yet again cheers ,see you on ya next one 👍

Oh I wish I'd known about that, maybe could have incorporated it into the walk. It's nice round there, so many footpaths to explore.

It might have looked liked a bimble but it was quite a long day in the end! I checked out several alternate paths and covered a good 15 miles in all.

I'm after getting another one I like it so much and HSH would be interesting - I think I have seen them in some pretty nice colours too (green/red?) gotta be the Korean neck through and NOT Chinese for me.

This is my local area, it's rained everyday for months! It is slowly improving but as of 1st May it's still welliy boots required.

Brilliant video. My blower stopped almost a year ago. I saw that the a new Saab blower was around 250 quid, but it turned out none were available, though cheaper replacements are available. So I took out the one that's in it, messed about with it, cleaned and doused it in WD40 and it came back to life. I put it back in and it has been working fine ever since. So it's really interesting to see that a new replacement part can be so crappy, I hope you don't have to use it later on

I sent that part back, it was sold to me as genuine (it came in the correct box) but was cheap tat. The original one has been fine so far. I'm glad you enjoyed the video - Cyclone Sid is a bit more to the point than me though, if you just want the how to!

Been there, done that! Original motor started making faint tinkling noises, then stopped. Bought a used OEM one from ebay and had the same fun job replacing it. Then the second one stopped one day, but that turned out to be stuck due to slight rust and freed up ok without having to come out. (Take the filter out, give it a spin and squirt silicon greaase at it.) The original then decided to work perfectly! Maybe the removal process had caused the fragment of stuff to fall out? Sod's Law at work.

It's all a bit hit n miss isn't it? Seems like plenty of times the original part just needs a bit of a clean and a grease. I don't think those cheap replacements are worth it unless you really can't get the old one going again.

Blimey, you have the patience of a saint!! I would have done my nut, especially when opening and finding that crappy poor quality replacement!!! A well deserved beer or a glas of wine that night! Looking forward to the next DIY vlog. X

Yep - a well deserved beer - you know me Lynette! There was a fair bit of off camera swearing but tbh there are far worse jobs to be done on cars.
