genuinely one of the best movies ever made. not even in terms of musicals, but also in general. every joke hits, every song is memorable, every character gets something to do, every scene is important in its own way, and it BREEZES by with a pretty short runtime. not to mention its surprisingly thoughtful commentary on freedom of speech, censorship and toxic relationships. EASY 10/10.

Just FYI, gaslighting is when someone is telling you something is a lie despite you knowing for a fact that said something is true. Considering that the crowd is unable to look into the future and had no way of knowing that Kenny was going to be successful, gaslighting is not possible. It's like almost the entire movie on an audio CD! And yes, it's very unique that the first ever South Park movie (and only one to be theatrically released... so far) is a musical comedy built around the concept that there are far worse things in the world than swearing.

So I definitely saw this movie as a child... I told my father I wanted to go.. He took me my sister and his soon to be wife to this premiere... Her name was charlene and she was jewish... She literally could not even help herself. She just cried and laughter over kyle and his mom.... If you might think this is a bad taste it's in genuine great taste... Anybody that watches this movie would appreciate it

the fact that they were nominated to the Oscar for this one.. And the Oscar went to Phil Fckin Collins with his ye another forgettable, boring ballad is unbelievable. Not being funny - this is one of the greatest musicals in history of musicals, every single song is great, memorable, funny, full of hooks and just... great... :))

I never got to experience this movie in theaters, but I’m going to now in about a month when this comes out in theaters with the sing-along version! I have read many comments that people were laughing their asses off in the theaters to the point where they couldn’t hear the movie because of the crowd laughing in there! And I remember people were getting out of their seats and dancing to the songs! I can’t wait to experience with the sing-along version if it even happens! And here’s another movie they make a sing-along of, they need to make a sing-along of hustle and flow! Because that movie is also packed with songs in it but way better than South Park’s! You guys don’t know what hustle and flow is. It has the song whoop that trick in it and I heard a lot of people got out of their seats and started dancing to that too! Both movies are the best and they need more Oscars!

I went to see the South Park sing-along the other day and trust me! The whole theater was repeating every line so it wasn’t much of a sing-along, it was more of a quote along, lol! Everyone was lit with Kyle’s mom, I will never forget about this! And let me tell you, South Park fans! This is an unforgettable memory of 2024! I am so glad I got to sing these songs with my friends!

This is the best soundtrack to the best animated movie ever made. The first time I saw it in cinema I was 12 years old and I peed in my pants for the first time while laughing. The next day my abs hurt from laughing the whole time. I just watched this with my son who is now the same age as I was back then. He loved it and it made him nostalgic because he is well aware that comedy is a genre that has taken too much arrows and people are punished for creative choices nowadays. All these years later, it is a reminder for me that humor is the key to live a great and balanced life. There is already enough misery on the earth, Trey and Matt are angels for uniting people with the universal language of comedy and music.
