@SteveRogers07682 жыл бұрын
@@youkai3785 except when he tricked Butters into thinking the world had ended so he could go to Casa Bonita. Or when he killed that guy in his flashback. Let’s also not forget when he used the Dark Lord Cthulhu to slaughter millions and when he gave Kyle aids just to get back at him for laughing. Oh and that time he freaking shot Token and tried to cleanse the world of all non ginger’s. Feeding Scott Tennorman his parents was also done without any technology what so ever. So was putting Arby’s hot sauce and laxatives In the cupcakes he gave mr Mackey and the other faculty for throwing him under a moving bus. He doesn’t need technology to get back at someone. The fact the writers let anyone get away with insulting him, or belittling him in anyway is ridiculous. Fuck the kid made a psychiatrists wife kill herself because he doesn’t like being called fat. Heidi, Wendy, Mr Garrison, PC Principal and everyone in this scene should all be dead and buried, or vehemently regretting it if Cartmen was half the person the show has made him out to be on several occasions. You could say it’s character growth. Especially how he goes against his own wishes and desires by giving back the pangolin in the pandemic special for the sake of his friends. But I prefer to call it ruining my favourite evil cartoon character in the same way family guy ruined Stewie.

Marcus Easton smith a lot of Black people get killed/beaten by the American police officers (or people of power) and have been for decades. And in these cases, the officers get away with murder or just get fired instead of going to prison. The movement is just for everyone to recognize the unfair treatment of black people in America, whenever this treatment is brought up to non Black people, it’s usually just dismissed or people are like “dang :/“ and get back to their lives. It’s really sad because cases like Kendrick Johnson and Robert Fuller are covered up as a “suicide” when it’s clearly not. And the killers just go back to their lives. Aiyana Jones was 7 years old and murdered by the police and her killer never went to prison. Same as Breyonna Taylor and thousands more. The murderers are just living among us, they could be your neighbor, it’s insane

The way this was written was actually really chilling. Like, once they're agreed on the plan, none of them can look him in the eye. Cartman's bargaining and Clyde's "I can't listen to this" especially. I mean I know it's all a joke about how online presence has kinda become life itself to some people, but still, if this was an actual murder scene it would have played out the exact same way. Disturbingly realistic.

This is an interesting scene as it draws many parallels to caesars assassination (it might be unintentional idk) 1. Cartman is convinced to attend a meeting to do something good with him (similarly to how Caesar was told that he should attend the senate that day as they were going to pass laws that Benified Caesar. 2. Cartman tries, in vain to reason with them. (Similarly to how Caesar says ‘this is violence’ while being stabbed) 3. Cartmans last attempt is to talk to butters his ‘friend’ (remnant of “et tu brute?”) 4. Butters just hits table for no reason. (Like how many conspirators stabbed Caesars dead body for no reason) 5. The whole assassination despite succeeding fails to accomplish any larger goal of stability (Caesar’s death was a key step into the crowning of Augustus as emporer) 6. Just the whole dynamic - a powerful man being mislead and killed by his friends in attempt to restore stability but eventually turning out pear shaped) I could be overthinking it idk

To be honest even though Cartman was innocent I still feel it was a wake up call for him. I felt a little bad for him but he basically deserved it for all the wrong doings he did but it made me also realize what a hypocrite Kyle is. For a person that always sees the wrong in everything he didn't even for a minute think to expose his dad( I know its his father and its a difficult situation which would make me think a little too). It just shows Kyle can't always say what he thinks or correct people if they are wrong cause he basically hided his dad secret and wiped the evidence.

Cartman is an entertaining character and thus he is endearing to those that enjoy the show. Regardless of the content, its his extremism that makes him so funny and memorable. A character that brings you laughter and joy regardless of the context undoubtedly becomes looked upon with reverence and affection. Sure in real life terms he is a monster, but who cares? No one in South Park is a Saint and almost everyone in South Park has taken people's lives. It's not supposed to be looked at realistically otherwise it's entire point is lost. This is why we like Cartman and even sympathize when he is trying to do the right thing and he suffers for it needlessly because those that have followed this show for the years it has been on have seen the shows attempts at revealing just how much potential Cartman has if his circumstances would allow him to realize it.
