If your kid isn’t respecting you it’s YOUR fault not the “media” or whatever petty personal scapegoat you want to lob at folks. Most kids learn the disrespect from their parents but expect them to “do what I say not what I do” which never works.

My dad use to own 6 successful resteraunts in his time, being recommended by 5 tourism comapnies. When we visit litterally any place whether it be a theme park or water park or resteraunt, he says," This place would be busier if they marketed more for kids, cause they always want to go back."

How about when you tell an Apple fan their corporation is hella evil, and by buying it you're indirectly supporting slavery because they(Apple) lobbied the US gov against international anti-slavery laws as it would be less profitable, and they(the fan) just doesn't care? Or tell a Disney fan that, after Walt died, Disney has usurped a local US government body for 60 years to use the tax revenue to further their own gains while underpaying women, AND being racist. Absolute denial is what you get from a pixy duster. How about telling a Nestle fan, how Nestle has indirectly killed 60k babies in 3rd world countries every years since the 70's, AND supports child labor in Africa because it's profitable? They just don't care or at most bitch on FB about it, while continuing to buy Nestle products. There's just so much denial and not caring of the general public idiots that corporations can continue to be evil, because it's profitable. If it wasn't, they wouldn't do it.

'Society devolving kids into idiots' is exactly what is happening now in schools. My sister works at a school and she says it is terrible. From grades to school violence. Even some parents act worse than their own children.

When I hear that kids make the sales, I am disturbed because it shows how our society changed. Kids don't have money, so it's there parents the ones responsible for buying all that crap. I remeber a quote from Walt Disney in the 40's where a journalist asked if his film where for kids, he answered "No, they are for familly and mostly to entertain the kids and the parents, the parents are the ones with the money, so to make money, I ought to market to them" (I am paraphrasing a bit, but the essence is the same.) Also, at 8:35 and 43 frames, we can see the exact moment your heart broke in surprise.

I agree on the child voice actor thing. The Stolas flash back episode of Helluva Boss is my favorite episode but i felt real weird about their child versions being voiced by actual children when the show has a warning infront of it saying that it’s not made for children and shouldnt be watched by children. I know rated r movies live action have children actors but they have to cause it’s real life but if it’s animated just hire adults who can do child voices

Their sales were very successful. Kids absolutely adored that stuff. I know my 12 year old cousin really wanted to try one while we were at the store. But the episode wasn't just about prime, they just used it as an example of a broader issue

The US doesn’t care if kids are shot in schools. We can’t even keep them safe there and the answer they see is to allow 16 years to carry loaded weapons into schools and telling them “it’s your responsibility to not be shot”. If you think I’m exaggerating or anti-2nd amendment I’m a gun owner/advocate and these are arguments straight from their mouths. “It’s a shame we protect shooters by not letting kids carry guns” is the new script.

I watched south park in grade 6, I was 11 and I was still able to take the lessons from each episode... At least it pushes thinking for yourself, It's up to the parents to teach and show their children common sense and how to use it.
