I got custody of my niece at 10yrs I'm chronically ill I know the stats of partners/step parents abusing( all kinds of abuse) step children I deliberately didn't date ANYBODY til she was 17 it fell apart he was abusive to me not her then I spent 6 yrs working on me I TOO MADE A LIST OF MUST HAVE'S and went thru a couple who didn't have everything on the list then I found the fiance he had EVERYTHING ON THE LIST except being tall I kept him😊ain't throwing away a good man cuz he ain't 6ft

@@Heyu7her3 this story was over three months ago. Their living situation probably had been longer than when this was posted. I surely hope they have moved into a place that is easier accessible for him, so she won't have to be physically putting her health at risk.

@@Heyu7her3 well, the issue was the Georgia health care system. They denied my mom any services and advised she was not eligible. Her health was getting so bad. We moved her back to PA where her oncologist stated she had stage 4 lung cancer. Had Georgia detected that when we took her to the doctors. She might have lived longer. And my daughter's dad. Was not present to do anything.

Exactly! My best friend has the same T3 injury and is also a paraplegic. She gets so frustrated trying to date. Some men are okay for a little while, but it doesn't last long. I pray that she meets a real man that's as caring, patient, and compassionate as the young lady in the interview. 🙏

I know right, BW sure love self sacrificing for others non stop…smh. Anyway wish them luck.

@@ce5693 He is a paraplegic, paralyzed in a car accident when he was a teenager, very handsome and intelligent. It was a long distance relationship so when I went to visit him, i realized he needed help with almost everything, bathing, getting in and out of bed, changing clothes, etc. He didn't have a wheelchair accessible vehicle, so we really couldn't go anywhere. He had a nurse to do these things for him, but I knew if we continued our relationship, i would do these things for him. Not to mention the emotional and mental aspect. I didn't know it at the time, but he had a lot of trauma behind his injury and how his life had turned out. This was years ago.

@@GratefulDaughter1 Is it love or obligation out of desperation? Why did she feel she had to take on this HEAVY burden of taking care of a disabled person? Was it so she could feel needed and loved or a martyr, even? The weird thing is she went on an app and specifically chose him out of many others who were not wheelchair bound. Something seems...off. I rarely, if ever, have seen a non-disabled man purposefully choose to date and enter into a relationship with a disabled woman.

My ex thought wrong. Wanted to cheat, sexting females behind my back. Now things going wrong for him, I left him out in the cold. Been 6 Months, he's still begging me. Nah go ask them females
