My dad, he was born in 1908, used a crosscut saw in his younger logging days. He said to keep your saw protected and sharp and to keep the kerf correct. He taught me that you can't force the saw to cut faster, you have to let it cut on its own. A good partner is essential, both have got to work in unison.

Awsome!! Reminds me of when I did tree surgery. Nice balancing trick. Holy cow you would not get away with this kind of show in the UK. The H&S boys would eat you up!!!! There would be hand rails on the water log!! Good job guys.

I was born I Alaska and raised there for 2 years now I'm 12 and li e colrado loved here for 10 years we had to move when my dad joined the army he was in for 13 years and wasn't in when he was 17 now he is 33

I sincerely hope that they use all the wood that they cut for something sensible after they are finished playing their stupid games. Cutting down old, mighty trees so that a few boys and their chainsaws can have some fun seems to me...........no, I am speechless!!

+Hans Henrik Larsen Go open your front door.... there thats what the wood was used for. you watch too much liberal news. Every one is not out there to destroy the forest like the H-Post would have you believe. Loggers have a deep respect for the forest. they understand its their lives and if they over log. Im a salvage logger and we work very closely with local environmentalist and biologists. Shoot after the local EPA blunder we are far better on the environment than the EPA!!!
