Man I love this racing. I'm 70 years old now but I remember back in the day driving one of these. Nothing like feeling that 10,000 RPM music to my ears

I wish this would spread into Oklahoma so I could watch it at our local track. I love the people that in character and dress from those times. Cars and racing are incredible too

Nobody is H pattern shifting, impossible like that....$30K trans and clutch set up......nostalgia eh...LOL

Vertical gate shifters were around back in the day. Sure you could run an old Toploader or Muncie but they would likely explode in short order with the track prep and high power these engines are making. There are restrictions on using modern style shifter handles and several years ago they even abolished the use of shift lights in the cars. Perfect? No but if you can find another "nostalgia" group that does is better please let us know.
