Many people who are migrating at the southern border are not just coming from Central America, but also from Asia and Africa. NBC News’ David Noriega spoke with some who traveled around the world to seek asylum in the U.S.

You don't have to look further than Japan to see what "no immigration allowed" looks like. It's the other extreme. Entire school districts being shut down due to no kids left. Their population is projected to shrink by half in 2100. China is also facing the same demographics nightmare.

That's because those are actual nations e.g., a country of one kind of native people (and a few minor tribes). That is something the United States could never be. It is the country of immigrants and will always be so. Even we Native Americans were Siberian immigrants once.

As altruistic as that may be, you cannot run a country this way. The US is not the Salvation Army and needs to have an organized process and a secure border. Migrants make our country better, but immigration chaos is unacceptable. We’re not a country at all if you don’t have a solvent border. Did you donate additional taxes for the housing and feeding of illegal immigrants?
