Southern Cross University's Gold Coast campus is located right next to Coolangatta Airport, and across the road from beautiful beaches.
The University's main campus, at Lismore, has more study options.
However, if you're interested in being on the Gold Coast and still having access to some of SCU's key courses, this campus might be for you.

I did my undergrad across both the Lismore and Gold Coast campus. The GC campus suited me better in terms of proximity to work and lifestyle (those hills!). It was a great campus to easily find a quiet study nook. In terms of campus culture and buzz, the campus on the GC was always quite on Fridays and towards the end of the semester. Also, assuming that you filmed this around the same time as when you uploaded... a lot of courses were shifted online due to covid restrictions. There were also weekly food van days and live music in the grassed area between buildings a and b before covid. Have you had a chance to check out their Coffs Harbour campus yet? It would have to be the perfect blend of coast and country.

Hello! What is a great university to study economics bachelor apart from UQ in the south of Queensland? His acceptation ratio is 40%, in the case of being rejected, what could be a better option? For internacional students.

Your options are QUT, Griffith, Bond, Sunshine Coast and USQ. Each of these has its own strengths and weaknesses, positives and negatives, depending on your personal circumstances.

Lismore was badly affected by major floods in March. The university is okay but things like accommodation might be impacted. There should be plenty of work available helping with the rebuilding of parts of town.

Lismore has been badly damaged in floods earlier this year. I’m sure there would be work available in helping with repairs and rebuilding the city.

Taught on both Lismore and Gold Coast campuses. Both are relatively small communities. Not sure about how it ranks etc but there are advantages to being in smaller locations.

i would like to study nursing as an international student, it is cheaper than Griffith, do you think it's worth to study there? or better to pay more and go to Griffith?

This is a hard question. You can go to SCU on the Gold Coast - it's a cluster of buildings near the airport and across the road from the beach. There's not a whole lot there in terms of campus facilities. Griffith Gold Coast, on the other hand, has a relatively new hospital and the campus vibe is nice. It really depends on what is most important to you. Both universities have their upsides.

August might be possible, but nothing is confirmed yet. The Australian Government has said it wants university campuses open and students back in classes before it allows more students to come into Australia. There is a lot of pressure on them to allow international students to commence their courses in August, so all we can do is wait and see....

My southern cross University at lismore. It is easy or hard to find jobs. And how much time to get PR at regional area.

Lismore was badly damaged in the floods in March so I think there would be quite a lot of work available helping with the clean up and repairs. I don't provide advice about PR and visas because that stuff changes all the time - have a look on the department of immigration website.
