I think he should be refused entry anyway - he's expressed his belief that he has the right to stay as long as he wants, which is enough to make the officer believe that he is likely to overstay if admitted.

This one time we went to the States for Burning Man )*( ..we told them that of course, and USBP asked "and you're all coming back after that?" .... Um "Yes sir" in unison buuutttt... We knew that one guy was bailing to stay help after Katrina. Burners Without Borders 💜😜🙏 Staying overtime in any country is a bad idea. As in driving without insurance, bad. I’ve been to Antigua. They’re very nice people. Show the agent your passport, tell them that you’re there on vacation. They stamp your passport, smile and tell you to enjoy your stay. By the way, you cannot even get on a plane to an international destination without presenting a valid passport.

The Antiguan people are very nice and generally easy going. I had a business there for over 15 years, and have been through that airport hundreds of times without any problems.

I;ve had this nice, jokey laid back service from caribbean people, so this doesn't surprise me at all. But you're right, wouldn't it be fun for him to try this elsewhere espeiclaly the US with it's manic TSA. I love the "this is MY government" line he was offering. I would have simply returned with "well in that case, that seems to be an impasse, so I can contact and show my government, how about you show yours?"

TSA doesn't enforce immigration laws. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) does that. They carry guns. TSA does not.

They warned him that if he does this again he will be refused. It looks like they knew him and they just didn't want to spend time writing reports about this nonsense. He went to a foreign country and told the authorities that he is in control and that they are his servants. I am surprised that they didn't put him on the next plane out.

Well technically you don't need a passport to enter your own country (assuming he's really US citizen). Of course he would need to establish his identity and citizenship, and the airline is unlikely to let him board without a passport.

@@jamietaylor5570 My dad was a travel agent for a long time and had people deal with lost passports. First of all, you'd have trouble leaving the nation you were visiting without that exit stamp. But if you arrive in the US without a valid US passport, you will be detained until your citizenship status and where you have been can be determined. This can take a few hours. . . or a few days. So, if you travel abroad, keep your passport SAFE. The hotel safe is the best place, you do get a passport card with your number if you need to show it to the authorities in the nation you are visiting. Know the location of the nearest embassy or consulate, and write down the number for their passport or distressed traveler office. In most cases, they can issue a temporary passport within 48 hours or so. Your passport is the one document you carry that identifies your citizenship. Guard it.

@@destroyerinazuma96 - That is a very good question. My first thoughts are no because you just used a nickname and all they need to do is tie your credits to your legal name. Now, I may be very off point on this because the only way this could’ve happened, in the United States of America, is that you paid for your courses without using student loans. They would have to pay for everything all cash and I cannot imagine any SovCit doing that. I would also add that the number of official documents you need to provide, to the academic institution, to enroll is quite staggering. You would be committing serious fraud if you were that extremely lawless. So, after thinking about your question, after writing this response, the answer is yes with a side of potential criminal charges brought against you.

I always thought that if you caused trouble trying to get on a plane or in this case get into another country they would hold you to make sure your not a threat or refuse you entry. I don’t know. Anyway he’s a instigator we know.
