For many I see complaining, this is actually really good for them. The pool helps them get out that energy and freely move their limbs under adult supervision. It's fun, they get to float and kick around. And for baby massages it's just as good for an adult. Helps to soothe and good for blood circulation. My lil girl is almost 2. If they had something like this available where I am I would have loved to bring her. It's would have been a cute treat for her.

I have always been really nervous about those baby float things but a friend of mine bought ome for her baby to use in the pool this summer and he absolutely loves it. He would probably be happy in the pool all day if she let him. It's surprisingly strong and it's not tight around the neck at all. It's around the neck but its their chin and head that is resting on it. And it makes him too top heavy to flip over. He can lean backwards in it but it's hard for him to stay that way because it's trying to go back upright. It definitely gives him much more movement and control than the baby boats.
