In the mid 1970s, POWER Records an imprint of Peter Pan Industries, long-time maker of records for children since the late 1940's, produced Story Records based on the UK television series SPACE:1999 which ran from 1975-1977. The first record set was a 12-inch 33-1/3 RPM LP record which included three different stories and was released in 1975. In 1976, four additional stories were released on LP for a total of seven total stories. That same year, two of the stories "Breakaway" and “Return to the Beginning" were released as a Book & Record set which was a 7 inch 45 rpm record and a read along comic book.
"End of Eternity" is Space: 1999 Story Record #5 and features a retelling of the 12th episode of Season One in which while exploring an asteroid, the Alphans critically injure an alien trapped within. Bringing him to Alpha, he is declared dead. However, he recovers spontaneously and his wounds have completely healed. The indestructible Balor is a scientist whose people had discovered the secret of immortality.

I appreciate my man is trying to archive this stuff. I don't know Space 1999, but it is a tragedy when media is lost.

Space 1999 good TV . Premise Earth's moon blasted out of orbit . A moon base is intact and survives . The moon base is sort of and the moon itself serves as the role of an uncontrolled spaceship blasted into space on a journey where they encounter both survival issues and aliens from time to time . They have small spaceships called eagles that do utility work ,transport and if need be act as a gunship/ space fighter with lasers .Done really well ,great acting ,great actors superb writing .For the time the special effects were awesome and still hold up even today .

I have no doubt the dead orderly would have found it funny, too.
