Welcome to the twenty-seventh episode of this semi-hardcore survival series, in this episode I start work on the production room which will contain our refineries and assemblers, mid way through that exercise the second biggest Reaver ship pays us a visit!

This series and videos are so under-rated. They are so chill and awesome. You know you have done a good job when a viewer( me :D ) just cant wait for the next episode, just to sit back and relax for an hour or so and chill, not even sure how I found this channel or series, but I binged like the whole thing until about 4 episodes back, honestly would watch this over most TV shows right now. 10/10! You know you've excelled at entertaining when I have spent the best part of 28 hours across 2 days watching from the first episode to now. Food poisoning has been a blessing in disguise, your content is excellent, nicely paced, laid back, and very human. I love the minimal cuts (whilst still being polished and nicely edited down) and the long-form videos and you haven't failed to deliver. Your builds are great, and the time-lapses are a pleasure. I'd love to see more content along the lines of your builds, even if it were entirely creative mode, I'd happily sink hours away on building montages. Keep up the great work dude! Bravo

Room looks nice and open, no need for top Catwalk's. Just a reminder, you were going to raise up the back Turrets on the two Gun Platforms. Think i would be Garaging all the Ships asap , save on a boat load of repairing , if not needing to replace all together. Watched and Liked 👍

Thanks mate 😎✌️. I think I'm gonna just go ahead and get rid of that turret installation on the bottom and replace it with two that are orientated 90° the other way so the weapons can just point straight upwards 😊

Do not leave wrecks laying about. You will crash your ships into them before long. They will also crash your FPS before long, too. 2 ways to go about it: 1. Immersive: grinder ship or grinder pit or 2. Less immersive: delete them from the "cheat menu". Either way I strongly recommend you get rid of them sooner rather than later. Another way to deal with these is to get a ship and give them a push. Yeah, a push. Let them drift until they go out of render distance. They are still in the world but fat chance you'll ever see them again.

Yeah I have to go around and clean them up a bit I think, I really wanna salvage the hydrogen from one of the pieces of wreckage around my base as I have noticed that I only have one single Hydrogen bottle 😅. I like your Idea of pushing them too, I might push them into the planet and then let gravity take care of the rest 😂😂

For future you, in your design lighting is very important. I haven't watched the next episode yet but I hope you keep the brighter lighting in your production room. You don't want dim blue hallway lighting around all that whirring/clanging machinery.

YAY started at number one and i have finally caught up with your videos it has been awesome watching this series i use yield motors on my refineries rather than speed you get so much and i now use the round conveyers they look more industrial and change the colour of them than that black and yellow square ones love the production room it awesome can not wait for the next one i started your wasteland series watching as thats is what i playing on at moment

Suggestion for a mod .. Nano bot build and repair system.. Also known as BOB ... Kinda cheatsy but makes recording for yubtub easier and quicker. you just lay down the frame and bob does the welding for you.

I wish you the best of luck with University. With your experience I believe you can get through it. I'm planning on going to school as for bio chem and have spent several months brushing up on stuff. It's tedious AF but well worth it much like designing.

Are there plans for the Asteroid Station to dissipate heat? Those Refineries and Assemblers are going to make TONS of heat that would need to be moved out of the station so as not to cook its occupants and equipment. Some external (deployable?) radiators might be in order to keep it comfortable for any Engineers that are on board

@@TheGarageGamer86 I think Space Engineers would benefit from having more systems like Electrical, Gas and Heat Management in the Survival Gameplay. Something like Stationeers is doing but with Space Engineers physics

I was just wondering if you had any tutorials on Automation? I need more info on the new drone Automation blocks

Honestly I have not played around with it tooo much, I do remember there were some issues I had a while ago after it first came our, I tried to get the automation block to turn off all the lights on my mining ship when the connector connected to something but it wasn't working, although that could totally have been me not setting it up properly 😅😊

The armored conveyer is available in more shapes through a mod, including a 4-way cross and different elbow-shapes.

I must admit I am tempted to install that mod just to grab to 4-way cross pipe, I'm actually surprised that they have not put it into the game in vanilla format!

The last update contained Keen's performance optimizations, so you now need better hardware.

LOL, turns out there was a glitch. A few days after that they released a hotfix which fixed that issue, though I have not tested it myself as of yet 🤔😂

I agree and disagree. Yes the ship is parked in a horrible place. Useless? Far from it. That ship has made this season so great. Engineering new ships that aesthetically match the exposed industrial look would have never of happened without it.
